Strain: Blueberry.....breeder is Joey Weeds

Growth: 8 week strain and responds very well to training. She's a pretty good single cola if grown in a sog but with some lst she bushes out remarkably well.

Nutes: Does not like anything Fox Farm. I grow mine with just water and she does great. Even the smallest amounts of nutes will cause leaf claw. Very few trics on the leafs that claw.

Yield: Average. It was my lowest yielding strain untill I ran it with a bunch of TGA strains. Compared to them it was my highest yielder.

Bag Appeal: 9 Good amount of trics with fairly hard buds. Turns a bit purple when I run it in the winter.

Smell: 10 By far by far by far the best smelling weed! Strong and candylike starting at week 5 and throughout all phases of drying.

Taste: 10 Taste like it smells with hashy undertones.

The High: Very close to the breeders description. Good aphrodisiac, good anti-depressent qualities with strong potency.

Comments: After running BB for a couple of years I passed it off to a friend and started running a bunch of different TGA strains, thinking that they were going to be better after reading all of subcools flowery descriptions. Ha ha what a joke. When I saw that they were not even close to being in the same catagory with the BB, I got a cutting back from my friend and I'm in the process of getting my Blueberry numbers back up. All winter and spring the question was the same from my customers....when are you going to have your Bluberry again?

lol you must got a bad batch of TGA BB is a staple in the western ny area ALWAYS around and its just not up to snuff with the stuff now a days how may of your 10 pack did you use every 10 pack of tga i got had 1-2 KEEEEEEEEEEPERS keepers

4 strains, many many phenos....approx 16-17. Most of it smells and taste of what I assume is space queen, cause thats what 90% of his strains are bred with, and its a taste and smell that I find offensive. Potency is fine and tga strains are pretty, but all that glitters is not gold. I have a pound and a half of the best phenos coming down in less than 3 weeks....sure they look awesome, but most people prefer the couple of other strains that I grow in a seperate budroom. After 9 straight months of growing tga gear, it will be a welcome change to move on

I welcome any comments about the strain Bluberry

Do you have any pics of the Blueberry?

Here's a cross I made of TGA's Royal Revenge and DNA's LA Con. It's more blueberry tasting and smelling than any Blueberry I've ever grown and the only leaf curl is due to copius amounts of resin. TGA ROCKS!

(Blueberry Fuel/Industrial Cleaner goodness that will put your dick in the dirt)

Ha ha to funny, say anything derogatory about subcools strains and up pops metalhead right on que. My BB are in veg with cuttins in the chamber but this is what one of my budrooms look like. Plants are big but they were also vegged for almost 3 months. both rooms are perpetual and produce more each month than I care to mention here on RIU :)

Hey I'm beginning to think your subcool himself....didnt you come around here shortly after sub left Breedbay? didnt I see a pic of a bunch of your seeds, and you had like 40 tga strains in subbys own bags? You must be a hell of a grower Stoned, or sub, or metalhead or whoever you really are. Ha ha just pickin on ya dude. I know your just a friend stickin up for his bro :)

I don't even know the guy, he's never given me free seeds , and I've grown out about 19 TGA strains. I just dont think bashing a guy because you had bad results is a cool thing to do. If you didn't like his gear thats one thing but to say his gear is a joke is rediculous. I've grown out strains from Tom Hill, Spice of Life, Mr. Nice, Reeferman, BOG, Serious, Sensi, DNA, and a bunch of others and I can easily say Sub's gear is on par with any of em'. Some of his strains do yeild on the low side and some yeild pretty descent but the quality is top shelf, I did have to do some pheno hunting but you have to do that with anyones gear. His gear is awesome to breed with too, even for being polyhybrids they pass on great flavors and potency.

Have you ever grown any TGA? I'd like to see some pics of what you consider a "REAL" strain I hope your not talking about ISS. I've grown out Sweet Skunk and it is descent with a nice flavor but the potency of the ISS doesn't come close to 90% of TGA gear. How many strains have you grown out? I've grown out over 100 so I think I might have something to compare them to.

...about the strain Bluberry..been growing from DJ Short seed since 2003. You might say I have formed a Symbiotic relationship. ( I take care of it, it takes care of me). I have always done good in dirt/compost combo's but last grow I tried hydro and it worked well, temps were low enough in April to bring on purple colors. We usually take the buds and eat alot more than we smoke, the leaves and stems are recycled through the compost pile. My grow buddy had a early flowering Sweetooth male busting to spread his genes so I lightly hit all my BB's lowest buds just to see what the crosses would be like, I'll do a journal starting about july 4th and post it up.

I want to respectfully acknowledge all the fine men and woman who dispite personal danger continued to grow and expand this gift from God.

okay im just saying BB is good and all but i much rather prefer a bb cross then straight bb i had to much trouble with bb i prefer DNA / TGA gear just finished some Sharksbreath and Hash Plant Haze from DNA both phenomenal got some jack the ripper on the way 8/10 female so im hopin i get a good pheno

The joeyweed BB hasn't treated me well. Out of 10 only 5 popped. 1 is doing OK, the rest are crap and won't grow. I'am a newbie on 2nd grow but the Joeyweed NL X C99 I have right next to it is doing fantastic. I'am thinking of just pulling the 4 up and hoping the 1 left i a female.

How many of the plants actually had not only the blueberry smell but also the taste? I actually have some applo 13 and c99 from Joey weed thatss be getting planted in a few weeks and almost bought the bb but everytime Ive tried any bb they have the smell but not the taste.

I'm doing Joey's BB in my perpetual ATM. I fucking love this strain! I've also done his White Widow and I have his AK-47 but I'm waiting to do that one. :weed:

i use blueberry to manage pain, very effective. i've never experienced anxiety after smoking blueberry and take some out of the jar after a rough day.
dj shorts blueberry i know first hand to be a very smooth hitter, mellowing, and its got that nice tangy taste.

Out of 5 seeds I planted, 4 sprouted. Out of those 4, 3 were female. 1 pheno was spectacular. 1 was pretty good and 1 was so so. Overall I must say I am very happy with Joey's version of BB.:weed:

I'm glad to see Joey Weed getting some positive recognition. He deserves it far more than some of the golden calves some people here bow down to. He's upfront about his gear and he doesn't have the business philosophy of you can't cheat an honest man; never give a sucker an even break, or smarten up a chump, like some breeders do.

I have no complaints whatsoever. I think Joey doesn't get the recognition he deserves because he mainly does F2's. Now I don't care about all that, I just want dank bud and don't want to spend an arm and a leg on seeds.:weed:
