Another Chance For Arizona To Adopt Some MM Laws? Hopefully!

Yes, indeed it blows.
Not sure what's up with metro PHX, but the local NORML people struggle just to keep anything going. Rumor has it it's better in Tucson, but metro PHX is where the people are. Every time this comes up I volunteer with whomever and every time things find a way to go to hell.
That last MM bill was worded so poorly that we gave the opposition all the ammo they needed to screw us. If we had gone with a Cali model or something simple we might have passed it. As it was some brilliant legal eagle thought the cops ought to distribute the pot and wrote that into the proposition. Like that was going to fly, with our local sheriff being a former DEA man and the weird local political climate. I swear people down here go crazy from the heat.
Now we're stuck with felony simple possession.
Oh well, next time around, God willing I live that long.
