Another Clone Question

Now should clones that are in a humidity dome be moist at all times or do you let
them dry out for awhile before spraying them again? if you let them dry out
awhile then how long? I notice if you spray only 2-3 times a day the clone leaves
are dry(not wet or moist)for quite awhile in between sprays. Is this ok? :-?

i only spray mine twice a day. the main thing I worry about is keeping the medium moist (rockwool or w/e you use)

I use rockwool. So obviously your clone leaves are dry for many hours in between waterings with no ill effects?

I never spray mine when in a dome, and I too have pretty much 100% rooting every time. As mentioned, it's more important to keep the medium moist, and in a dome, this should not be a problem. Unless you use a heating mat as I do, then you should check your medium everyday to see how moist, plus it exchanges the stale air with fresh.

yes. the mist dries up within a few hours. i too use a heating mat. i spray small amounts of water on the bottom of the tray, really helps keep the humidity up.

To clarify, I meant the leaves don't need to stay moist if they are in a dome...

vilify- You have to mist, even in a dome, or your leaves dry up?

Meaning the mist dries up. Not the leaves themselves. I really dont have to mist period, but I do just to make sure they are happy.

corrected previous post. did sound very unclear on what i meant on the 2nd read through. =P

I too use a heating mat and spray small amount of water on the bottom of the tray but I was
spraying the leaves about 10-12 times a day. Talk about overkill! Needless to say all the clones are still
doing well at day 10. I took 23 Black Domina cuttings from 3 big Dominas. Thanks again and your help
is very much appreciated! : )

Speaking of Metal I just recently discovered that my satellite TV carries
Sirius Liquid Metal. This music station is straight up hard core and has to be loud or don't even bother.

Yeah, if your dome has plenty of condensation, then no need to mist the leaves.

Even if you arent a pro, because I sure as hell aren't Im still only coming up on my first true harvest. (lost my last grow due to some complications, long story.)

Its always good to share what you've experienced, good or bad.

Just like marc emery says, were all here to outgrow the government! :) cant do it alone.
