...my lights went off, a fuse must of blown, switched outlets to one that is COMPLETELY just for the 1000w light. plants are still seedlings, some havent poked through yet thankfully. im assuming they were in 45 degree weather till about 9am this morning when i came home.i assume the liughts went off around 12 or later. thanks. please god tell me there going to be ok lol.

They will be fine. You were not at that temp for long and the soil/roots take longer to cool than the air does . When you get into the 30's you see problems. A dedicated circuit for the grow is a must and you have corrected that. Also, maybe a small space heater with a thermostat as a backup in case power/bulb goes. Happy growing!

Hope you will be OK. No freeze. Only seedlings. Only one 12 hr or less dark period. Fingers crossed.

dnt sweat it they would need to be frozen (you dnt think in spring when they pop in nature that its 45 deg they die do you cause they dont)


You seem real nervouse for a guy with boy light???????????????????????

I left my aeroponic machine unplugged for 8 hours on some unrooted cuttings, came back to them sagged over and dead and they all recovered in 24 hours and rooted a few days later so they can take some abuse lol

Weeds a tough plant and as was pointed out can see 45° as seedlings outside and be just fine.
A seedling heating mat may help them germ faster/better.
