Needs more time to become fully ripe. I'd check it again in 2 weeks to see where it's at. There is a big difference between "good enough" and perfectly ripe, but honestly, it's up to the individual if that matters. But you're doing good, keep at it, you'll have some great smoke very soon! The only time the pistols retract into the flower is when it's pollinated. If that bud came off the lower part another couple weeks if that's a top bud another month. Depends on light tho if you're running low wattage that may be about as big as they get. The pistols will change color and curl once they start to curl is when I start checking trichomes.

Even off my bed time strains I let sit until they are 40 to 50% amber the pistols don't retract. They maybe smaller due to swollen calyxes but they don't retract. They retract only once that pistol has recieved pollen.

Break out the picsNah my autos rn are 13 weeks, never do I pull early some of those started flowering before day 30. My photos run for around 4 months flower only give or take a couple weeks.
