Needs more time to become fully ripe. I'd check it again in 2 weeks to see where it's at. There is a big difference between "good enough" and perfectly ripe, but honestly, it's up to the individual if that matters. But you're doing good, keep at it, you'll have some great smoke very soon! Also, enjoy your research.

A finished plant. You’ll notice the pistils retract back into the flower and even the smell is different. All the calyxes will be swollen to the eye. You’ll know. But samplers are always awesome. Because the amount of time it takes to dry (to get a decent example)
Then by then it’s almost two weeks later. Lol. Next sample. Great time of year for large outdoor plants

The only time the pistols retract into the flower is when it's pollinated. If that bud came off the lower part another couple weeks if that's a top bud another month. Depends on light tho if you're running low wattage that may be about as big as they get. The pistols will change color and curl once they start to curl is when I start checking trichomes.

The bud I selected was very low, not really indicative of any of the colas. Running 240W quantum board in a 2x4 tent. I'll post pics of the colas and see what you guys think.

30 watts a sqft is the lowest recommended amount. Nothing wrong with it just a heads up if you want a larger more dense yield.

That's simply not true
There's plenty of pictures on this very site showing quite the opposite.

Cannabis “pistils” We’re not talking handguns here.
At maturity will recede back into the non pollinated calyx.
When pollinated it will retract even at 4 weeks flower. If your growing ses you wait till the plants done

Nah my autos rn are 13 weeks, never do I pull early some of those started flowering before day 30. My photos run for around 4 months flower only give or take a couple weeks.

Not currently flowering photos nor do I have 6 month old pics of them. These autos are a week or 2 away some may run a little longer. The vegging tent are my next run of photos. The vegging closet is going outside. I may be new here I've been with grass city for 2 years and growing for 4.
