Another "is it done" question.

What do you guys think? This is the first plant I have ever gotten all the way to the finish. I spend 15 minutes a day looking at the trichomes under my magnifier, but still can't decide. I want as much of a body stone as possible.
I have been waiting for amber trichomes, but I recently learned that not all strains will amber..

Strain: Unknown autoflower (Was a free seed from a seed bank, but it didn't say the strain on packaging)
Height: 8-10 inches
Light: HPS and CFL
Age 8 weeks + 5 days from germination.
Scent very fruity

There has been no noticeable growth or changes in a few weeks. The trichomes look very much like ice crystals to me. Very white. The top leaves have begun to purple and the sun leaves are pale yellow. I have not fed her in two weeks and flushed 10 days ago. She's not very hairy, but the pistils do appear to be dark orange or red or brown.

Thx for the help.

LOL... Does that mean I'm a cheese ball or I better let my plant mature a little more? :) That was pretty funny..

This plant is so crazy.. I think they crossed a broccoli with a fire hydrant and called it cannabis :) It looks nothing like any pot plant I have ever seen. I actually wish I knew what strain it was because It actually has a lot of buds for its size and I could fit probably 10 of them in my tent.

Thx for the input!

Yea, I wish I hadn't flushed so early. I had it in my head that 8 weeks from seed was the magic number, but now I think that 10 weeks is more like it. Maybe even eleven. I think the seed banks skew the numbers a bit. I have an auto NL in flower and she is 45 days from seed. No WAY she will be ready for at least 30-40 more days.

when the majority of the hairs recede / turn orange is when i harvest
the trichs may not amber up at all some autos do some dont
very nice job brother

and yes 10 weeks + is when the magic happens
usually ill take breeder times and add 4 weeks to it just so i have a ball park estimate if i haven't grow out the strain before
dont get me wrong harvesting at breeder times will get you high
but its not optimum

Then it's done, or past done. I don't go by trichome color, gave that up years ago. I go by the observation you just made, I read the plant - pistils, vigor, calyx development or not. Keep pushing it and your gonna see bananas. You have about a 2 week window of prime THC quality and then it goes downhill after that.

Do not flush. Don't fall for such a lame but popular forum practice. Keep the leaves healthy and green until harvest. Why would you give up on supporting your lady at a time when she needs it the most?

Well, I pulled the trigger. 9 weeks from seed. Orange hairs, a few amber trichomes, yellow sun leaves, nice aroma.. Here is a pic of the first manicure. She's hanging upside on strings now. I'm pretty happy with the yield considering she was so tiny.
