Another new lighting question. 5x5 tent

Hello all. I'm working on a room that will be about 10x10. After listening to some comments I think I will follow the advice of others and start a little smaller. I found a gorilla grow tent 5x5 with the extra foot extension to get me just under 8ft tall. Found a deal for that tent for 300bucks including the extension for the original style gorilla tent. I'm looking for some lighting suggestions for this tent. But would also be able to use in the 10x10 room, with some additional lights ofc, down the road after I got a few grows under my belt. So, show me some suggestions for a 5x5 tent keeping in mind that they will eventually be moved over to the bigger room. I'm thinking about turning the tent into a drying/curing room after the big room is up and going. Thanks all

Hell, I dunno if there are any rules against it, but I'd be willing to buy used from someone here. Rather my money stay in the community if possible.

Sorry, my dumbass should of added that info in. I'd be looking for led lights with a budget of hopefully 600 or so for enough to light up the 5x5 tent.
That's not very much to spend on LED for a 5x5. That could probably get you 6 HLG QB96's and a couple drivers though. That would be decent.

You'd need to spend a LOT to get LEDs to cover that area. You could always go with HPS air cooled reflectors, since you are going for the extra height, you could put a 1,000 watt light in there, not spend a whole lot, and grow killer buds.

320w in a 5x5 flower area? Lol
Yea, 320W is for sure a bit lower than generally recommend as well as lower than we typically recommend, but it really comes down to light distribution and not wattage. I a lot of people use the watt/sq ft to decide if a grow light is suitable for a certain grow space and the number that is generally tossed around is 30 watts/sq ft. However, this does not take into account at all how the light is distributed over an area. I'm sure you've seen plenty of lamps with hot spots reaching over 2000 PPFD in the center and low 100s in the outer edges, yet these lamps draw "the right wattage" for an area.

Anyway. Yes, 320W is low for a 5x5' but look at light footprint and PPFD maps rather than wattage for an accurate demonstration of a lamp's performance.

Work perfect for what you want/need now and in the future. Bout a $100 more than you want to spend tho.

Dude, your board dimensions are 15" x 17". IDK what ppfd magic you think that's gonna cover with TWO of them over a 5x5 in flower.
