Another "which strain should I get" thread...

hey everybody,

I'm looking at getting some new genetics from attitude probably and wanted some opinions. I've got a 4x4x6 flower room with a 400w hps, good ventilation etc and a 200w cfl veg cabinet and have a semi-perpetual soil grow of skunk haze and NL/Skunk going at the moment. Both strains are fun to grow and smoke (although the skunk haze is a stretchy little bitch), but want a little variety in my stashbox. I don't have loads of vertical space so i'll shy away from anything over 75% sativa, plus i prefer the indica doms or 50/50s. Mostly, I'm looking for some variety. Here's what I'm looking at:
-Sensi Seeds Skunk #1 or Super Skunk. Something classic....
-Reserva Privada Silver Bubble. Apparently, this is one of the strains from grey area in a'dam....love that place.
-Nirvana ak-48: cheap and fast. looks like people are getting good results with this.
-Something from Barney's farm. Blue cheese, red dragon, red diesel, sweet tooth?
I also have my eye on other stuff like Sagamartha Bubbleberry, greenhouse mix packs or reserva privada og kush, sensi/white label mix packs.

Any input would be much appreciated! How do you all go about picking your beans?

ah silver bubble smoked that in the dam, probably my favourite of that trip. i've grown ak-48, like you say fast and easy, silver bubble is way nicer though. haven't grown any of the others. i'd say silver bubble and bubbleberry

I've done Barney's farm Red Diesel from FEMINIZED - the mother and clone hermied excessively. I'm flowering a clone again and treated with Reverse, no bananas. Nice taste but not much potency first time around, hopefully this time. I suspect the hermieing is from the feminized seed rather than the strain.

If your an indica guy get any kush strain, they are all good.

ive been looking at the white widow from the site "nirvana" but im an outdoor grower and i dont see why not but its under indoors so i dont know if it would have any effect on the strain

Thanks for all the input guys. I think I'll get the silver bubble or bubbleberry plus skunk #1 and some kind of kush.

Hobbes, I guess I'm mostly looking for a balanced high that gives you a strong body buzz but doesn't put you sleep. I've found the skunk haze to be very nice but a bit racey (sometimes i actually get stressed out when i smoke it...) and the NL/Skunk to be nice but a bit too narco-sedative, so I'm trying to find my happy medium. Nothing wrong with having 3 or 4 strains to choose from either.

MD, I think to grow a white widow outdoors you need to be living somewhere pretty far south because they take until late october/early november to finish. Most strains that are labeled as 'indoor' will grow just fine outside if you live in the right climate. Where I am the frost would probably kill them by mid-october...

nice.. well thanks for the info man. ill def look into the site. good luck on your grow i think we both have the same idea/ love of non sleepy but more of a body high bud. im gunna look more into the stuff you decided aswell. hope you do well
