i've never been a fan of ignore....but the new ignore feature is AWESOME!

i've been asking for years for an ignored users posts to be removed entirely from the pages viewed...and voila! it is so.

sorry neo123whatever....you're out!

now....to expand upon this wonderful idea to include all threads or posts with certain keywords....like defoliation.....

hey boss, is this possible?

Speaking of plant rapists, one guy shows quite a few bald 2' tall trunks with a shot under the screen looking across and I said, "ugggg, who would want that maintenance!" (He actually crawls under this large screen with pruners in hand, then has to clean up). Then I says with tongue in cheek "Did you rape those ladies on your back, stomach or knees?" Hah!

poof, DELETED. Some people have no sense of humor. :)
You're so chuch, your eyes are bad, the screen is 2 ft' tall from the floor, take into the account the pot, that's a 1', so taking off 1' of plant matter from a 6' tall plant isn't shit and would have wilted away and died from lack of light anyway just like they do in a crowded tent in veg. You liked topping so much you first grow that you just stuck with it, what grade did you decide that was good enough? 5th?

Damn, you still following me? What IS your problem son?

Does this look like I'm sticking my chest out you little twerp. https://www.rollitup.org/t/soilless-peat-ph-5-8-or-6-5.828108/#post-10496332
I don't follow you Ben. You have a couple lap dogs that take care of that. I just pop in from time to time to give you a little cyber-smack upside the head.

While we're on the topic, I was reading an interesting ditty the other day from the University of Georgia (College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences) and figured you'd have some input on this. Here's a quote from the publication:

"For fruiting plants, pruning plays an important role in improving overall fruit quality, primarily by increasing light penetration into the tree."

I don't defoliate or prune, but I thought that was interesting. You say light penetration to bud sites doesn't matter, but that kind of contradicts your thoughts, no?

You trolled my 906,000 views topping thread until me and others asked you to leave, which you didn't. Just kept on and on.

It's interesting to those who haven't been exposed to it and will be foreign to those who have no fruit growing experience.

The attempt at linking two totally dis-similiar circumstances/goals/methods has been raised before, and like before and before that, I explained the why's and wherefores in detail using grapes and apples as examples regarding enhancing fruit quality and market appeal, reducing herbaceous in red wines, increasing anthrocyanins, etc.. Do a search on my recent posts and you'll have your answer. I'm tired of repeating myself.

I am familiar with the site. I'm going to follow their "new" perpendicular-V training system for some new apple trees I planted. My vineyard is trained/pruned to vertical shoot positioning, VSP.

Wtf is with the indian/native comments?
Ask Sunni to un-delete the village idiot's posts from yesterday and you'll find your answer. Just call it a "private joke" although I doubt if god's-gift-to-cannabis finds it very funny.

See, this is what happens when you have a censor happy mod. It was a perfectly benign exchange, topic being mainlining aka raping your ladies, but probably considered "off topic" to Groucho Marx so in his infinite botanical wisdom, he managed to have it deleted.

Yes, Uncle Ben and others could absolutely do that .... but they don't, because it's not about helping others for them. It's about sticking their chest out and inflating their ego.
Its really both sides that seem to be overly passionate about the subject. But yes some seem to feel the need to belittle. I myself will keep my comparisons to myself! Lol

I'll take that as "I don't know".

And no, I'm not going to search through pages of your drivel. You encourage people to chop 3/4 of their plant off, including the leaves (I thought those were important??) and dump chemicals all over the place outside..... so your words kinda ring hollow with me. Plus you're a racist old fart. I don't like racist old farts ..... little twerp.:bigjoint:

Suit yourself. If you're too hard headed to learn, that's OK.

Definition of a racist - stoner losing an argument.

so now defoliation is mainlining is raping. Do you even know what your talking about??? I'm starting to wonder If your so convinced that there is no other way to grow besides your way, and you are to stubborn to even educate yourself about the last 40+ years of growing since you have adopted your "advanced" style, let alone try other techniques out for your self. I doubt you even have the growing skills to try them, no you probably have just failed miserable though and went back to what you know. So your saying kyle kushman doesn't know what he's doing? I've seen a whole room full of veganic SC that was "raped" to shit, what a newb, who can you trust nowadays?you?

I just LOVE chemicals, and so do the intelligent and wise folks I hang with. Here's some I gifted to another forum member. An incredible greenhouse grower. Also gifted him some classic beans - Dalat, C99, Brother's Grimm In/Out mix, RomberryXPeak19. Classic stuff only the old folks would appreciate.

Keyplex 350 DP - finally, a real miracle product!
Bonzi - PGR to control the dalat stretch (and not a minute too soon, whew!)
Polyon - best encapsulated food available
Potassium nitrate - a DIY blooming tonic I combine with DG's Pro-tekt
Forbid 4F - THE silver bullet miticide for every stage of all classes of mites

Groucho Marx called it mainlining, remember? That one's gone too, oh well.

I could care less what kind of kewl forum lingo is flung about here. Hell, no one can even agree on Fuck I Missed, FIM, much less understand the plant process that's supposed to happen.

The proper use of that term is "I couldn't care less". What you said implies that you really do care.

You were being the forum spelling police yesterday, so......

After perusing my first page again, noting the clowns and such, just noticed something that's very pertinent to the discussion. As pointed out in post #19 a grower will not see any appreciable amount of yield doing a double harvest unless they retain lower leaves. Most fail at that feat, very few can pull that off. There is not enough green matter at the budsites EXCEPT for the leaves retained to provide the carbos to increase flower production.
