i recently dealt with a ant infestation in one of my plants that turned out to be alot worse than i had originally thought. ive been useing soil and have one around 3-4 ft. i bought ant traps and transplanted to a perlite topsoil soil micture in new self watering pots(which i might add works fantastically). ive had to transplant 3 of 4. the largest one is taking the hardest hit it looks like. she(hopefully) is on her second day of being transplanted and is lookign worse everyday.
the ant infestation was mostly in this particular one. alot eggs and larva in the roots and surrounding soil.
is there anything that i can do short of waiting to see if the transplant will take. or do i let her die? what steps can i take to help with survival?
any help would be grateful. thank you
