And here we are for our Sunday update. This is 5 days after our previous update, which was this past Tuesday.

RH in the tent is 65%, Temperature is 77F/25C lights on.

Here are both of our ladies, P450 on the left, and P300 on the right.




We are still feeding the following measurements per gallon:
5ml Micro
7.5ml Grow
2.5ml Bloom
5ml Deep Breath
2.5ml Snow Storm Ultra
10ml Killer Tea

P450 measured at 16" at her highest point. In 5 days she grew 6".


P300 measured 16.25" at her highest point. In 5 days she grew 3.25"


Light distance from the canopy has been adjusted to 18" above each plant. We were at 20" last week.

Lets get into some fan leaves.

Both plants are doing great, and they both appear happy, and healthy. We currently have no signs of problems or deficiencies. I was surprised to see the P450 plant jump up that much in 5 days, but the P300 didn't do bad either. I'm happy with the height of both plants, and I'm happy with the progress of both plants as well.

Both plants have approximately 8-10 "node" sites. When I get back, I'm going to do another update, with a full branch count on each.

As expected, my girlfriend has stolen my camera, so we'll be relying on cell phone pictures today.

We'll be flipping to 12/12 today.
We have moved our lights down to 16" above the canopy, and we will maintain this distance through most, if not all of bloom.

The girls have received their fist feeding of bloom nutrients as follows:
5ml Micro
5ml Bloom
5ml Grow
5ml Magnum
5ml Crystal Burst (bloom booster, 0-15-15)
5ml Deep Breath
5ml Snow Storm Ultra

Here are the lovely ladies today:


P450:

P300:


Our P450 girl is standing at 22". 6" taller than 8 days ago.


Our P300 girl is standing at 23.5". 7.25" taller than 8 days ago.


Growth rates are still pretty similar, but the P450 seems to be growing a little more dense than the P300.

5ml Magnum
5ml Crystal Burst
5ml G10
5ml Snow Storm Ultra
30ml Killer Tea

Light distance is still being maintained at 16".

Here are both ladies this morning. I also included a couple of gallon bottles I use for mixing various nutes to give you all an idea of the overall size.



P450 is looking great so far. Dense and compact growth for sure.


P300 is also looking great. She's a little leggy and has a bit more stretch, and slightly less density.


P450 is now standing at 24". 2" taller in the last 6 days.


P300 is now standing at 27". 3.5" taller in the last 6 days.


Being from the same mother, the lights definitely influence the growth pattern. The P450 appears to have a higher level of intensity, as the plant has grown very tight and compact. The P300 is a great light too (I have grown with it previously), but definitely doesn't seem to have the same strength or intensity. We haven't seem a huge difference in height throughout the grow, but we've seen a noticeable difference in the growth pattern of both plants.

Nice work man, looking great!! I think the P300 is a great light for my space as it's a much smaller footprint, it grows some nice buds! The P450 is doing exceptionally well though!

I grew great looking bud with my mars. Pled is just a another Chinese importer with a fucked up history of shit talking and lying.

They became such a fuck up over on 420 that they got banned. They can grow bud. Im friendly with folks who grow sweet buds from blurple like pled BUT there is zero comparison to the density, size and nuggerty of a legit cob grown bud.

Thanks a ton! The P300 is a beast. I love it for sure, and for a novice like myself to hit 6 zips on my first grow with the light was a pleasant surprise.

I grew great bud with my Mars as well, and I wouldn't shit on their product, but the P300 yielded better for me, and produced higher THC levels.

I'm not familiar with any fucked up history, shit talking, or lying, so needless to say that also wasn't the reason behind starting this journal.

I'm friendly with folks who are proud of their grows, and don't shit on other growers because they don't agree with the methods and/or products the grower chooses, or is limited to, due to budget constraints, availability, space available, etc..

I look into a company before i make a purchase i quickly discovered that they are known for swiping another company's id, for being banned at 420, for lying about components and construction.etc

Yeah man, the P300 yielded me close to 6oz last time as well, I'm very happy with it for the small space I have.

Last week on Thursday both girls needed water, so we're increasing watering to 1.5 gallons each, per week. We were previously watering with 1 gallon every 6 days or so.

On Thursday the feeding schedule was the same as last week:
5ml Micro
2.5ml Grow
5ml Bloom
5ml Magnum
5ml Crystal Burst
5ml G10
5ml Snow Storm Ultra
30ml Killer Tea

Next feeding we will replace Crystal Burst (0-15-15), with Sonic Bloom (0-51-34).

Light height has now been changed to 14" above each plant. (16" previously)

P450 is now 28" tall. 4" taller in the last 8 days.

P300 is now 32" tall. 55" taller in the last 8 days.

That's a crazy nute mix you run too mate, is that all organic? You can see it works well though, those girls are massive!!

Thank you sir! The nutrient mix isn't organic as far as I know. Just bottled nutes from Humboldt. They have a sample pack for $15, which I wanted to give it a shot, and they're definitely much better than the Blue Planet nutes I was using previously.
