Ants on my plants :(

I was making the rounds yesterday of the ladies...sad to discover tiny black ants running all over my 24k plant. Will they hurt her?

When you see ants around your plants like that is a good time to check for aphids. The ants carry the aphids onto your plants, lets the aphids feed on sugars from the plants, and then comes back to eat the aphids.

Terro ant bait may help? Stick one on the floor? Never had ants in my pants.

How big are the plants?
If their a decent size, there won't be an issue, but if your really worried, buy ant traps

I don't know...they are on my cucumbers too.

Imidacloprid is good at killing ants and aphids. Perhaps a root drench at the ant hill, locate the source, it can be far away but follow the fuckers back to their home and drench it with 5 gallons of imidacloprid mix. I like Mallet 0.5 mL per gallon. Don't root drench your plants if they are in flower as it's systemic.
