ok so i have a closet grow going with one white indica and one mazar kush both fem. the soil they were put in after cracking is just topsoil with perlite and vermiculite no nutes yet. 24 watt pc light, 24 watt beamswork led light blue and white spectrums and 4 15 watt flourescent fishtank lights starting at 18/6. small little fan not on yet but will be in the future. set up a home brew co2 system with a bottle and tubing filled with sugar water and yeast... (does this do anything?) should they be in larger pots or are these seed starters fine? im planning on using mg soil mixed with plain topsoil and perlite and ver to dilute the nutes so i dont burn the little ladies. using RODI water for now, when put into flower in 2 to 3 weeks im going to use "grow big" and "tiger bloom." this is all for now any questions or concerns would be much appreciated, let me know if i should add anything.

thanks.

Seed starters should be fine at the moment but be prepared to move them into a 3 gallon pot in about 2-3 weeks. I wouldn't recommend the MG soil (even though some people have had good results using it) because of the added time release nutes, instead, I'd look online to see where the closest place that sells fox farms soil is and buy some of that to mix with perlite and if you'd like, a plain topsoil of your choice. I would recommend at least a 6 week veg before switching to flowering because your yield will be impacted A LOT otherwise. Use the nutes at 1/3 or 1/2 recommended strength. I wouldn't recommend the CO2 for a beginner because it really doesn't have too drastic of an effect in my experience and producing your own CO2 is a relatively advanced technique. I also hope your going to get a new light setup when the plants begin to grow larger because that's gonna be sort of lite especially for 2 plants. I recommend a minimum of 75-100 watts per plant.

thanks for the reply,
ill have to look for some foxfarm, what one would you say? happy frog? also the co2 is kindof an experiment for now it shouldnt hurt anything its just rubber tubing chillen near the soil. the reason for the 3 weeks of veg too is just for the sole purpose of a sooner harvest. im gonna clone both plants too and do a legit veg phase with those.

I prefer ocean forest myself but there are those who swear by happy frog. Yeah if you're just doing it as an experiment feel free! But the most rapid periods of growth are between weeks 3-6 so that't why I'd recommend the extra 3 week veg. 3 weeks can double or triple your yield in some cases!

if i do 6 weeks veg as opposed to 3 weeks what kind of height and grow time do you think im looking at for both scenarios? i dont wanna wait forever id like to keep it at a bout 2 months of grow time, but more yield im sure would be well worth the wait, also would i need to add more lights or stronger ones for more veg time for the whole grow?
