6400k for veg 18/6 cycle
2700k for flowering 12/12 cycle
if you really want craziness you can also use 10000k during your last 2weeks of flowering

I have 2 more light bulb attatchments here now, if someone gives me the go ahead, ill wire in 2 more lights, Im a qualified auto electrician so dont worry about the safety side of things :)

Well i added 1 more light in there, so now i have:

3x 100W Philips bulbs
1x 36W Tube light :)

I will try that in my next grows ( have to save up some money for lights ) and hope to get some Snow White or White Widow.

see about getting a cover for that tube light so it will reflect more and I think you will be good to go for your veg stage :D wo0t

Hi all, well, what does that stage consist of? i have got a roll of that reflective matting stuff you can see, ill use that.

I have just took this picture, also includes temperatures, is the temp ok, or do i need some more ventilation.

Buttt, can i put a small flatscreen in there, with the right colour temp on? LOL My pc is right near the cupboard

Not to sound funny but if you dont know what the veg stage is you need to do some more research.

Research is the key

Oh and just so you know you want to try and keep your canopy temps below 28C

at canopy level you want it 28C or under

My canopy level is just under 28C and ambient room temp is 24.8C

Start by using the Sticky's at the top of the newbie central forum there is one there called how to grow Marajuana start there and then try growing.

I cant believe the amount of people that dont do any research before growing MJ.

Please read.

I still class myself as a noob as i have only been growing since Xmas09 and i am on my 3rd grow but i never stop doing research.

Research is the Key to a successfull grow.

Yes i appologise for all the questions, ive been having a read through and i have learnt quite a bit.

Realising my temps are so high, ive had to moddify my wall, its dry wall with a cavaty and i have 2 120mm fans blowing into my cupboard, both sucking fresh air from my room. This has brought the temps down 8deg C, i am now at 33C, dont think i can get any lower than that.

Two of my plants started to be effected with the addition of another light and moving the whole lot closer.

One started to wilt, not at the top, but the leaves lower down.

Also one of my plants, one of the leaves has slightly brown edges now, hopefully moving the lights back helped with this and the wilting issue, only moved them an inch or so.

You also need exhaust fans to get the hot air out.

Mount them as high as you can in your room.

If you are using 120mm fans again then you need to have more fans for exhaust.

Maybe 2 x 120mm pc fans on the top blowing out
and 1 x 120mm pc fans blowing in at the bottom somewhere this should help to create some negative pressure in your room and help to remove the heat out the top.

Hope this helps you out some more.

Hi, i would love to do that, but it means cutting more holes in my wall :( Ill try my best though to sort somtihng out, Im planning on moving to the attic, MUCH more space, much cooler aswell, and i can make a wooden box to contain them :)

yes moving them back should stop that, the brown was burned edges, keep us updated till you get it to where all is good, be glad to give what I know. :D

OMG, i opend my cupboard this morning to check on them, BOOM, all 3 slid out onto the floor, if plants dont recover well from stress, i think these will die :(

Hi all, i have moved my plants now into a big box right next to me, its all padded out with reflective sheeting, i have 1 120mm intake fan at the side of the box, and one 120mm fan on the top of the box as an exhaust. atm i am using 2 100w bulbs that are running 18/6.

I REALLY hope they recover from that plumet, i think the street heard me shout "NOOOOOO"

The temps have drastically improved in the box, to 26C

I have 2 plants in 1 plant pot atm, there seems to be plenty of room in an 8" plant pot :)

After moving my plants closer to the light, im much happier with them now, the temperatures are all bang on aswell. Here are some pics :)

After the misshaps and what not, im rather pleased with my plants, i have 3 20w CFL's to replace all my bulbs with in the flowering stage, what would you say was the best thing to do now for the plants, its not a good setup by any means, but i really want to see it through and try and produce some nice plants :)

There only seems to be a bit of damage to the leaves, as you can see in the puctures, only 2 o are going slightly yellow with some yellow/light brown spots. Do i cut these off, or leave them?
