I was thinking about trying a outdoor grow for personal use this spring. I would be using clones to be sure I don't have males. It would be in Northern Indiana would it be better to use a cornfield or in a patch of woods somewhere.

well id say weigh the pros and cons of each

WOODS
Pros- more security versus cornfield, you can spend more time with you plants doing things like LST, giving nutes etc., you use the soil of your choice

Cons- Probably less light versus corn field, can be difficult to find a suitable spot, usually more work to prepare spot, bugs/insects

CORNFIELD
Pros- lots of light, ferts and good soil already in place, farmers do the watering for you, less bugs

Cons- you don't know what kind of ferts and soil it is, much easier to be seen going to and from the plants, much easier for your plants to be found, farmers usually use chemical insecticides

hope this helps you make a decision. happy growing:blsmoke:
