I guess I’m one of the lucky covid cases out there with mild symptoms, the worst of which is loss of smell. In fact I noticed the lack of smell the day my plants stopped smelling. I was baffled as to how that happened which led me to get tested and then test positive.
Made sense after that.
Now for the interesting part. For five or 6 days ago I lost my smell but in the last two it’s slowly coming back. I can now smell Clorox wipes, deodorant, candy. Tonight was the first time I could smell my plants which are in week 8 of flowering. I’m growing dance world and tangerine dream which smelled fantastic last week. Both like orange bubble gum. I could sit there and smell it all night. It was truly aromatherapy.
Tonight I could finally smell something but I could only smell faint pine. So I’m only smelling the pinene terpene part of the profile.
Anyone else have experience with regaining smell from Covid while flowering? I’m curious as to what terpene is next to return? And what causes the order? Molecular weight? Boiling point?
I’ll post back as it changes for shits and giggles but any one else is in the same boat let’s see if it’s the same order.
