Any experienced CBD growers?

Cbd comes from the trichomes as well.

I cut one off midway up the plant, put it in my toaster oven on warm setting for 5-7 min at a time do this a handful of times over the course of a few hours or until it's somewhat dry and give it a go. Your plant may go longer too, sometimes it stays "dormant" for what seems like an eternity and then in a day or two things can ripen quickly. Post a pic in 3-4 days.

Its cannatonic a high cbd strain. Still produces thc.

So ended up drying the bud in the microwave and surprisingly was very smooth. Smoked a joint and ended up with a real mix of Sativa/Indica high. I wasn’t expecting to have such a high thc effect, I could have possibly got the thc dominant pheno.

Don't do it in the microwave, lol, but seeing how you did and it turned out ok I guess whatever works. If you want think you have thc dom one and you want more of an indica effect wait longer on the harvest. Do you have multiple plants?

Yea I have 2 more. So have to wait and see with those 2, they are a little behind this one. In your experience with cbd dominant plants, what type of high do you get after smoking a joint?

It's been all over the map,

The bad ones - some real fucked up experiences where I'm laser focused yet tired as hell it was such a strange set of opposing forces it fucked me up. That was called high voltage cbd...garbage weed. Some night time ones give me rest and relaxation but I need a full 8 hours of rest or else I'm groggy. Cali-O cbd gave me pretty bad heart race and a shitty wired sativa high, left me wiped out for a whole day.

My favorites are ones that take the edge off and good for day use with no hangover or groggy wiped out feeling after. The best ones I've tried are cbd spliffberry (awesome yields too for cbd), ringos gift, moon, suzyq (wicked for joint pain), cbd shark. Have cbd blue shark hanging right now. Dinafem cbd auto was ok.

The good ones I find are subtle, mellow and relaxing, good to carry on with your day.

Yea that’s what I was expecting to get a subtle high, relaxing day smoke. I’m going to try bud from another plant tonight and compare

I hope you get one thats as advertised. No microwave tho! Lol. looks like a pretty good growing pad you have there. I wish I could grow outside with a 9-10 week strain, here I'd be lucky to have a 7 week finish.

Haha I used the microwave again. I found the oven to be too slow. It works. So plant 2 is completely different really relaxed mellow high. Pretty happy with it, looking forward to smoking properly cured bud now from this plant. Yea growing under the sun is great.

it's my understanding that there are 2 kind of trichomes. basal trichomes are the ones resposable for cbd production, I suppose they're shorter than the ones producing thc.
I grow a high cbd less than 0.5 thc strain and in about 8 weeks I get to the cloudy trichomes stage.

The cbd strains that I've grown have all had trichomes and lots of them, never stopped to look for trichomes differences other than clear cloudy or amber. I've seen some strain reports of very few trichomes on growdiary and found that to be strange. I think it has more to do with genetics and environment I think hemp has very few trichomes and it's association with elevated cbd so people assume that high cbd don't have trichomes but after growing we know better.

Hey. I've got some creme & cheese going. Does anyone have Any specifics on it that are interesting? 2 of them smell very pungent,skunky, and scream WEED, but 1 is heavily blueberry danish scented. I'd like to harvest with maximum cbd potential, but the blueberry one I will harvest over a few weeks just to see how it changes. Thanks.

Did you get the high cbd pheno? I was reading up on it, says 50% chance of 1:1, 25% chance of high cbd, 25% chance of high thc. Just picked up temple which is supposed to be the high cbd pheno of cannatonic, pretty excited to try it. What was your third plant like?

I don’t have much experience with cbd so It’s hard to say if it is the high cbd or 1:1. But definitely happy with it. Third plant started flower week or 2 later so haven’t touched it yet. Yea awesome how you going to grow it? I just bought a magic butter machine, can’t wait to make some oils.

Sweet that thing is easy, your going to have a lot of medicine.

It's going to be indoors, 4 way lst, in a sip. I figured if this flower does the trick i am going to buy 8-12 seeds and see if I can get the high cbd one and test it with this:

I also want a good foundation for making some chronic fatigue strain crosses and this may be it.
