Just got this, this morning, anyone own one or know how to get a reading off of it, want to check the soil in pot and also test my water, but nothing seems to be happening on the dile, anyone know what im doing wrong?
A PH reading of 7.0 in soil is fine. If it gets much above that, try squeezing the juice of a half a lemon into your water before adding it to the soil. The citric acid will lower the PH. But ... but ... but ... DON'T OVER DO IT. Too much acid will kill your plants.
