Any idea what bug this is?

Spinosad does work but if there is an infestation several applications will b required. I’m not speculating I speak from experience. Jack’s dead bug works it’s a good maintenance spray when there is nothing currently present it’s not bad to hit things once a week with that you alternate what do you spray on them. But if you’ve got a lot of money at stake And the notion of using something a little more potent can indeed outweigh the task of several applications and still having the potential to leave a couple alive. Take from this what you will. Just my two cents and I’ll leave it at that

also if you can find blue sticky traps (not yellow) the thrips are attracted more to the blue stickies.

I have used blue and yellow in areas of severe Thrip infestation. Yes they are attracted to the blue but just as many if not more are going to go to the yellow in my experience so maybe it be a good idea to get both colors why not? If anything they make good indicator cards for pest presence. Specially those damn fungus gnats.

Hey I know I’m new to this forum. I actually signed up for a different Christian regarding trying to find attributes of a certain strain I can’t locate in any database. I came across this and I’m just trying to help. I’m sorry if I come across like I’m trying to prove something or I know a lot or whatever cause I don’t know shit.I learn new things all the time. You can grow your whole life And plenty of times the newbie novice will point something out to you that you’ve never thought of so like I said I’m just trying to help I’m not cocky or any shit like that I’ll tone it down

PersonalI very rarely get any pests.

I’m just a bit of an armchair entomologist lol.

because I don’t suffer with bugs doesn’t mean I don’t have anything just incase.

my pest products are yellow sticky traps, H2o2, Neem Oil, Monterey Garden Insect spray, fortefog bombs.

just before heading into flower I tend to give a root drench of neem as a preventative measure.

But I’m fascinating by bugs lol.

All good, I feel the same way about myself sometimes too. Even though it's never intentional. Personality is difficult to express through words. It's the information and attitude that counts.

One thing I have learned and that is there are no silver bullets in spite of all the claims from the gazillion different manufacturers of products for this industry. And I say this with the upmost sincerity because I’ve spent my time and share of money looking for those silver bullets. Certain products do indeed knock your pests out dead for sure but more often than not one or two would get missed and It can start all Over. Those growers that absolutely love growing always looking at the plants and their set up appreciating every aspect are the ones that are going to catch those one or two that got missed. They may notice something out of the ordinary. It may be nothing or may be the first sign of a problem. The more you do it the better you get at judging. Even though something may look suspect after time one begins to recognize the things that are within the normal nuances of plant growth. On the other hand one may overreact to something, feeling an overwhelming panic!! The desire to keep their babes safe is paramount! Something minor appears as disaster looming! Action is required NOW!!! Then your best intentions end up doing some SEVERE DAMAGE to your otherwise fine brood. These panicky mishaps are what make a grower(me included) into a MUCH BETTER GROWER! As shitty as it is and to accept if the passion is there you will stick to it. Mishaps like these will happen again and again and with each one the signal gets clearer and clearer.

The worse the infestation the more little silver spots you’ll see. I would be very surprised if you had no spots on any of your fan leaves. And if you saw thrips on that plant that means they just establish themselves and this will be the easiest time to get rid of them

I'll post pics of fan leaves after work im pretty sure there is. No damage as of yet I've very closely inspected all plants and only found two thrips on one plant.

Thanks for all the input guys here is a pic of them after treat ment I cant see any damage and I havtn seen any more bugs since. I'm going to dip them one last time in a mild bug killer solution to be sure. Again thanks for all the help!!
