Any ideas on lower leaves

I had had good luck with FFOF until recently. I got two bags and noticed upon opening that the color and smell were different. Then the plants I put in in started getting yellow leaves after only a week. I figured I got a shitty batch or, due to supply chain issues, they were putting in it whatever they could get their hands on, or both. Thinking maybe my luck has run out and that I need to look elsewhere.

You could also not bother ph’ing the water for the first few weeks & have no issues in ocean forest.
If I had to take a wild guess (which it is because we’re talking about a plant we can’t see) i’d guess it wasn’t mixed well/bad batch, or pests came with the soil.

I use city tap.. gets to sit a good 10 mins while I procrastinate mixing nutes.
Not saying all tap water is fine. The info on what’s in our water is available, I’ve had no reason to check.

here’s what they look like. all clones.
Theres 4 in solo cups (bottom left side) have been in cups for almost 2 months, so they don’t look too great.. but they’re good. 6080A669-1429-4CE7-8FE7-A992331196A5.jpeg
