Nice. Well, best of luck and keep us posted.Yep, that's what I was thinking. Thanks for the drawing! It looks better than my chicken scratch. I want to make sure I get good scrubbers. I don't want the whole house smelling to high hell. I'm excited to get started on growing. Hopefully I will get that drywall finished this weekend. Stuff sure makes a mess. Pulling wire for the hoods. Hopefully the rooms will be ready the end of next week.
The smell is a big concern. I will be legal but it doesn't mean I want to smell it. I sure don't want anybody in my neighborhood knowing it either. It's not the cops that worry me, it's the thieving assholes in the area. They would steal my husband's hole riddled, skid marked underwear if they thought they could make money off of them. I want this totally on the down low.If it has its own heat and a/c you should just seal off the room and run co2 with a controller. It will cost about $400I to set up and will protect you from unwanted bugs and things getting in your room. You can also run higher temps running co2 so you won't be using as much AC. Get a couple 6" inline fans with carbon filters and hang one on the cieling and out the other one in the floor on the opposite side of the room. This will keep the air fresh in your room and keep the smell pretty much vanish!
You'll only have to worry about the odor in your flower room. With a room that size a 3' Can Filter strapped to the ceiling that recirculates the air will be just fine. As for the veg room just try and bring fresh air in there via passive intakes. If you seal your hoods and use insulated ducting with dryer vent on the outside then you won't have to worry about smell there. The smell is a big concern.
