Any iPhone 4s users here?

This monday my verizon upgrade is finally here and im ditching droid and moving to the apple. The 4s i quite a deal i can trade in my old bionic and get 70$ and the 4s with upgrade is 100$ so ill need to fork out 30$ for a new phone *Eye of the tiger*

So how does everyone like theirs? i personally hate the shape of the 5 and that was a big turn off for me

I love my 4s. It has a sick camera and it just functions really fast and simple. Get a case right away because they break super easy as it's made of glass...but at this same time it feel great and looks great with the glass so it's up to you. Also I had trouble with the charger fitting in some cases that I've bought in the past and recently figured out I can break off the plastic at the end of the charger and it will fit right in no problem.

Had the same situation, had a shitty blackberry so I stole my sisters upgrade. The 4 was free but I got the 4s for $80. It's not bad I'm just not tech savy so I use about half the shit on here. Iphone 5 is too big in my opinion and too light. Feels kinda like plastic, I like a little weight in my hands so I don't drop that shit.

I have one. For playing around it's alright.
You have to be very close to your router if you
want to be on your home network and not your providers.
That really sucks.

If you get into an area with less than stellar coverage dont expect to
send or receive texts or calls. Older phones were better.

All in all, I would rate the phone junk. Unless apps are all you want it for.

The new BB - Z10 is way better for actual call and text functions.

Nope...lol
But it is the capabilities of the phone.
The wi-fi really isnt good. In my house with a dlink dir 655
12 - 15 feet away it wont connect. Just goes through the
carrier.

If you ever find yourself in a remote area ( road trip )
you may not be able to send or receive calls or texts.

I find it more gimmick than fuction.

I live in the boonies mate lol ive never been to an area around here that i loose signal with verizon =)

Well i guess we shall see how mine performs!

Do explain as i would never buy an iphone...samsung u can add memory card,change battery,bigger screen,nice and good looking, not made of all glass(wtf was apple thinking putting glass as a back) and my phone samsung galaxy s2 now almost 2 years old still runs like a champ

i have a galaxy s2.. my phone does everything the i5 does.. cept i dont have siri to talk to if i get lonely

Funny you mention that, my wife tripped today with her phone in her hand. She fell and landed
on the phone, completely shattered the back of it. Good thing it wasn't the screen.

Funny you mention that, my wife tripped today with her phone in her hand. She fell and landed
on the phone, completely shattered the back of it. Good thing it wasn't the screen.

Happy with my white iphone 4. I finally got rid of my ipod i always had to carry my phone and ipod, thats not the case now. Got a cool nintendo controller case for $2 on amazon

1) As a phone - all competition is equal

2) For apps/ games - apple wins

3) Internet Surfing - droid wins, better flash and g4 speed

4) layout - apple wins, much smoother fluid operation that will almost never freeze. Not very customizable but the smooth OS makes up for that.

5) Batteries - I will have to say the Iphone batteries sucks, i cant compare with other phones because i have no experience, but an iPhone on full brightness will only last half a day.

Iphone gets sooo boring though unless you jailbreak it. You can get so many tweaks. My phone can do the harlem shake

I just had my upgrade with verizona month or so ago. I went and got the Iphone 4s, i hated it with in the same day i went back to give it back to them and just keep my old samsung driod charge. they told me to keep it for awhile and learn it and i would love it. everyday i hated it more and more. i went back with in the week and i still have my charge ans still love it. outside of siri my phone can do everything the iphone could and is much more user friendly.

I swear I was channeling your wife. I face planted on the gym treadmill. Soooooooooo embarassing and it didn't help I fractured my nose LOL! I cleared the room when I reset it!! LOL Now I have this huge boxer's nose (sorry Clayton!). Too damn funny. The only other girl in the gym said, "Oh my god you're hurt!". I said no dear that's stupidity leaving my body! I can't play with my phone and walk at the same time like you youngsters.

I'm still laughing. It will be fine but it looks so dramatic and I feel like I have stoooooooooooopid tatooed on my face. Ah well sometimes you are the great lesson and other times you are the horrible example.

Oh and I immediately got back on the treadmill and stayed at the gym until I finished my entire workout.

TL;DR

with all respect... Fuck apple! Android for life. I have the RAZR M, had the boss lady's Charge for a week. I laughed inside when she thought switching to Apple was a good idea. She has and Ipod 4 touch, never uses it because it's not a droid. I had a Galaxy S, it died in the heat and humidity. And a couple drunken tosses. I love my RAZR. It's small, powerful, efficient, and has swype.
