Morel Mushrooms. Not magic shrooms but, probably the most delicious, sought after, wild edible mushroom on the planet. (in my opinion)

They can be cultivated but, very, very difficult. They have to be cultivated in the woods.

Around here they show up about April 15th and all are gone by June 1st.

morels are abundant in my neck of the woods! The Ozark Mountains.. I go every year with my granddad and he has about 5 different places in National Forest that we get them from. I love me some morels!!! good luck finding em. Tricky lil basturds....

I would love to hunt there someday. (I'll bring my fishin pole too) I was stationed at Fort Lost in the Woods for a while but never got to go shroonin.
I have my own woods here that produces well. My first batch I always saute up with some deer tenderloin(also grown on the property).
Every year.

That's what I'm talkin about.I found 5 within 10 feet of my door last night
Mine are about 50 yds out side my bedroom window. Soon...havent looked yet.
it's supposed to rain agin within a couple days then I'll go check my woods for the mother load

look in fresh burns down in creek bottoms you will find them everywhere especially after a rain and the sun comes out they grow up

anybody ever heard of the "penis envy" strain? got them from a grower and took them while camping in the desert. shit was sick.

I can hardly wait.
Its also a good excuse to be slipping around the woods. No one will question what you're up to if you walk around with a stick in one hand and a grocery bag in the other...Just hunting shrooms...
