I make hash with the leaves.
It's a very simple process. But a little time consuming.
All you need is:
A bucket
A large clear jug or bucket
A very fine strainer
A tube that can be used as a siphon.
Wax Paper
A large plate
A heat lamp
An electric mixer
Ice and water.
Fill up the the bucket about one third of the way with ice.
Then add water to about half of the ice.
Next, add your dry leaves.
Mix for about 15 minutes on the highest setting.
Then pour entire contents through the strainer into a large clear jug that can hold all of the water.
You may have to do this several times depending on how fine your strainer is.
You want to get almost all of leaf particles out.
Afterwards let all the setiment seep down to the bottom of the clear jug.
This takes a few hours.
For me, I let it sit over night.
Then take your siphon tube and suck out almost all of the water out.
What's left on the bottom is your hash.
Now you have to dry it.
This is the time consuming part.
Put a sheet of wax paper on a plate, then pour entire contents on the wax paper.
Next, take your heat lamp and put it about 12 inches away from the top of the plate.
You want it to be hot, but not hot enough to where it burns.
This part could take anywhere's from 4-8 hours of direct supervision.
You need to stir it as the water evaporates.
You don't want it to burn.
Once your able to roll it into a nice little ball, place the ball on another small piece of
wax paper down and set it outside in the sun until it's hard.
Voila...you've got hash
My favorite way to smoke it is too pack a bowl and put a very tiny ball of hash on top. MMMmmm very tasty.
