Currently working as a Linux SysAdmin and looking to move over to the Marijuana industry and work in it while building my own ideas for the industry on the side. Looking to see if there are any openings for a
budtrender, manager or grow laborer, or even a possible partnership with funding. If there are any serious inquiries from a medical shop please feel free to PM me.

They're not looking on here for resumes. Crank one up, start mailing it out.

Really, from an employer perspective, this method of job seeking is very lazy, rather off putting.

Lots of competition for industry positions, make yourself heard by being a go getter.

the industry is maturing and there are almost 10k people w/ a badge to work with cannabis in colorado as of this year. to get in the door these days w/ no cannabis industry experience youre looking at an entry level job - harvest/trimming or budtending if you want to work w/ the public. and bottom line is that nobody is going to pre-hire you based on relocation for a $10-12/hour job because we've got inboxes full of local resumes already.

however, if you have a degree (seems like you prob do since you work in a similar field that my degree is in), have some long-term employment experience under your belt (2+ yrs at most recent employer), and come in and bust your ass and dont get blasted on every break you can advance just as quickly as your company expands. lots of people looking for a cool job but not focusing on having an awesome career so if youre one of those people who want to make big things happen there are opportunities.

my company will be hiring nearly 200 people in the coming months. 95% of them will start as trimmers and many will move from there to the entry level grow teams (mix nutes, feed plants, do transplants). there are also department managers, shift managers, and team leaders at every level - harvesting/trimming, growing, etc, etc.

I don't think the MED works with out of state funding, assuming you want to be on the paperwork. Pretty sure you have to have 2 years of residency or something along those lines before you can become financially vested in MMJ/RMJ. I'd stay far and clear of getting involved without being on the paperwork too, seems something like 8/10 owners are just plain pieces of shit.

I have internet skills, but I'm not looking for a job(thank god). Out of curiosity, what is it you do?
Classic ganjapreneurship, brother- I need a professional online business presence for both my manufacturing and consulting concerns.

And yet I found my best people here. Truth and experience is rough sandpaper for assumptions.

I have gotten myself a few internet sites in development so that will help start up my revenues out there plus an app that will be widely available once cycle is complete.
So I am more interested in any partnerships I feel I have decided. Got a few PMs about being a inventory specialist and budtender, which I sincerely do thank you for reaching out to me.

Going to be traveling to Denver to scout the city for a week next weekend after the hustle of labor day.

Sure hope the holiday weekend hustle does not sell everything good before I make it. /sar

Thank you again everyone for commenting and building discussion!
