I was in a really good marching band in High School, well, good by Vegas standards anyways, and I LOVED IT. It was probaby one of the happiest times in my life and as close as I'll probably ever get to having tens of thousands of screaming fans adoring me. We used to make the crowds go wild and feeling of elation and euphoria after a flawless show is indescribable. It's like having really great sex with God.
Here's a meeting of alumni from the '94 Blue Devils (professional marching band) playing an excerpt from their show that year. It's absolutely beautiful beyond words.

And if marching band isn't your thing, I KNOW you'll like the drum line. Danny Carey of Tool and was a snare player in drum corps. The best drummers usually were. This is the Blue Devils and they are sooooooooooo fucking badass. Notice how everything is in time and synchronized. Even the hight at whcih they raise their sticks has to be the same. 8 snare players--all completely in time. It's really quite in credible when you think about how good they have to be.
