Any other PA MMJ card holders on here?

Hey, I finally did get a card, it took months and is only good for 3mos. Did a renewal, that was easy but too expensive IMO. I could see where this program really discriminates against poor people. Not at the state level where they offer discounts if you qualify but at the Dr's and the dispensary level. The products are twice to four times the recreational prices in Co. I used to love BOGO Shatter Saturdays at Medicine Man, which brought the $ down to $20 for a half. Ah those were the days, still I'm not complainin' just waitin'. If NY and NJ go legal Pa. will have to do the same. Once that happens the Medical counter at our disp's will look like the ones in Denver-cobwebbed. Despite the tax difference, no-one in Co. bothers with Medical. What I heard was it was the Dr and card fees that decided it, not the tax at the counter.

Let's see if we can get some discussion going? Anyone get any of the White Shark? I know that should be in the strain forum, I just couldn't think of anything else at the moment.

Hello PA folks! New patient/card holder here. In my case, I was coaxed/coached by some card-holding coworkers that were kind enough to walk me through the process. Pre-registered w/the state on Sunday. I had my consultation with Dr. Roman @ Nature's Way in Philly on Monday night...paid for my card on Tues. AM...card in my mail box on Friday. Amazing.

Hello fellow Pa. folks. Was a member here years ago and now that I'm legal I decided to come back. Just looking for insight on dispensary strain reviews and what not. I've been to the Butler and State Collage dispensaries, The folks at both are very friendly but I'm leaning toward State Collage because it's closer, more selection of strains and much cheaper. It seems prices are starting to come down too. State College dispensary price is 40.00 an 1/8 for buds on average. Compared to 50.00 and 65.00 in the beginning of August. The strains of bud I've tried thus far from the dispensaries are GG, Ecto cooler, Durban, Og kush,and Girl scout cookies. The Gg was absolutely gorgeous looking completely covered in trichomes. Girl scout cookies is by far the best strain I've had so far imo followed by Og kush. I've also had super lemon haze concentrate ( badder) which is phenomenal too. Hope to here from some of you soon. Only good for 3 months??? I'm pretty sure ever DOH issued card is good for a year. My whole process was super easy. I went to Dr. Levinson in Altoona. Awesome friendly Dr. Cost me 200 dollars for the visit. This was back in May.

Technically when completing the physician registry process it does give the practitioner the option to recommend for less than 1 year which is terrible to do because then they need to update their MMJ card as well. In a medical practice that SWIM works we do 1 year recommendations and require 3-4 month follow up. Except for the first 30 days, SWIM practice can pull your MMJ card at any point for noncompliance.

The selection of flower and concentrates is pretty large, I have had a card for nearly a year and I'm still haven't tried all the indicas and indica dom. hybrid flower yet (no sativa for me). All the dispensaries I've been to have friendly staff as well. I just think the renewal cost for the card is kinda high.

I think there are 6 dispensary's in Cranberry Twp now, a few in the Pgh area and one just opened close to me, Ethos in Robinson Twp.

Most of the liquid vapes have been underwhelming to me. Probably because I smoke so much good quality bud.
Comparing liquid vapes to dry herb is like methadone is to heroin, close but not the same.
I'm sure if I stopped smoking for a week or two, I might form a better opinion on the vapes.
I'm not spending a hundred bucks on some sort of concentrates that I have to spend even more for some rig I have no clue what to do with.
I need to be showed what to do in person, not some youtube vid

New card holder from eastern PA.
After 44 years of smoking MJ, I'm finally legal.
Although the dispensaries are more expensive than the black market,
I like the fact I know what I'm getting.

Hi everyone .. nice to be here! Also nice to finally have my card! I Googled medical drs in PA. It was very pricey to use them but I paid 250.00 for the cert. Then 99.00 to be diagnosed immediately by their drs. I have ALOT of records all over the place and needed it quick so to me it was worth it. Very fast to get diagnosed... but card took awhile to get here. Then 50.00 to the state. I had to save up for sure. I love the people at my dispensary.. going tomorrow for only second time excited to try something new again. :) ARCannabisClinic is the company. Hope this helps someone!

im approved but still run out quick people say i smoke to muuch all i can say is i know people that smoke more than me Snoop doogg smokes 99 blunts a day now thats more than me
