Any Point in Filtering Low PPM Tap Water?

So where I live in BC my tap water comes out at a super low PPM. Usually between 16-18 and a PH of 7.

Is there any point in doing any sort of filtering?

The only thing that could be wrong at that point is chlorine as 4 ppm is considered safe for drinking but might still effect your plants.

That's awesome.

I found some pretty incredibly detailed information from my City on water content in every neighborhood.

Seems like I have mostly calcium in the water at 4.5ppm. 1.5ppm Sodium and .15 of Magnesium.

Chlorine is .19ppm low, .69 Average and a high of 1.9ppm

I assume I should be using MagNiFiCal at full strength throughout the entire grow? I had some issues at week one veg with what I think was a micro mute deficiency. Added MagNiFiCal 2 weeks ago and I think we're over it entirely.

Ive got soft water (35-40ppm) and need to use cal/mag early on.

usally half strength until mid veg then full. Then perhaps a little more when they are in early/mid bloom. Then gradually reduce again.

That's good water. Mine runs around 80. I have used it directly on plants but now run it through some charcoal filters (from my old ro unit) to remove chlorine and chloramine. Not necessary but I had the filters.
