I don't believe in god so why the devil? I think closet cult is right we let these fantasies rule our world, it's silly. Everyman has good and evil in them, hence to the ancients there had to be the opposite of god, now we understand that man is just suffering from his own human condition he is both evil and good.

there aren't many actual satan-worshipers out there, it's a misconception lead by the christian church

read into anton lavay. his "religion" is about worshiping oneself, and using psychological symbolism. it's applied atheism for the eccentric/romantic

yeppers, although I must admit Satan is a fascinating subject...and yes satanism is about personal power at least from what I have read. Religion has screwed up this world long enough....

I never liked religion, but I am a spiritual person. I just can't stand churches and the political agendas, and the intrusive 'witnesses' from every branch of Christianity.

I'll always hold my Christian values close though. Even if my Satanist friend teases me for it. I'm giving him a Precious Moments Bible for Christmas this year as a gag gift. I have a feeling the next time I see it, it'll mostly be ashes though. XD
