But the sand is on top of the soil and it's the first thing to dry out. That doesn't make sense. Plus they are going up.molasses?
i think it's like Tahoe said, the roots go where the moisture is.
What do you suggest tom? I'm telling you, the sand is the first thing to dry out. It's on top. That's why I'm having a hard time using my fingers to determine the wetness of the soil. I wouldn't say it was root-bound because the roots weren't going around the bottom of the pot but there were sooooo many roots. What doesn't make sense is that the "sweetness of the molasses" is bringing the roots to the top of the soil.....
Thanks baby and back at you I just want to have the best possible grow I can. I have 8 feet as far as height goes and I FIM'd even though the breeder said not to but I have only 18 inches to go before I get in trouble. Problem is I have 10 clones slowing me down.your plants look pretty good to me.
I get your first post! I'll have to kiss you for that. MUAH!!!old pic eh
I watered late last night and woke up to very happy but thirsty girls. They sure are drinking a lot. They are growing about 1 inch taller per day but getting very wide. The ones that were FIM'd have at least 8 tops on them now some up to 12.
the "weather" in that room is 3 1000W MH bulbs plus a few fluorescents and some fans. You can do that right? I think it's the TLC that I give and get THC in return!Dammm all that california weather,,, it takes at least a week for my girls to grow like that, and I am doin all I can afford to mimick that kind of weather.......Jealousy will get me nowhere, I know, I know I cant wait for the winter so I can get my grow on....
I go in there with a mister bottle even though humidity is a problem in the rest of the house because of the beach. Is there an auto mister out there. Like a fan with a sprayer?I think its the humidity thing that Im always trying to get right,, kinda hard for me to get it right, I live in the middle of the desert, Im hoping to move my grow space to a much bigger area in the winter when I am hoping to have much better luck,,,, summers are far too hot 110 lately and gettin hotter by the day and DRY, its far from impossible for me to get it right, but it is a constant struggle lately...... Growing is in my blood, so far Ive been able to get great returns on most of my grows in all of the different states Ive grown, but where im at presently is by far the hardest to control, I do love a challenge, just gets frustrating sometimes....good luck with your grow,, been following a lot of grows and loving them all.....
