You have the right idea, I had a 24" in the center of a 4x4, but i had it pointed up. Really moved the air around, didnt need any other fans even though i used them since i had them

The $13 walmart metal ones. Hang it by it's base. Ive also hung box fans with a small plastic pot zipped to the back so the tent wall doesn't suck up to it

go to the hardware store and get some lube for electronics like this stuff and put extra lube on the pieces connected to the fan blades. Some of mine are over a year old and still working.Apply the lube every 6 months or so.

Honeywell are the best for the money.. They make them that oscillate and fixed that tilt and are easy to mount or hang.. Pretty much a no brainer for me in the future.

I buy the little ones. I have screws in the walls so when one dies I just replace it with another one. They usually last about a year running 24/7. But for like $13-15 that's fine with me.

This is what I used for a long time, but I just stood them in the corner. Lately I've been trying to maximize space so scog net fills from side to side and I took them out for the cheap pole clip types. Never thought about hanging them like that though. I like it.

I used mine in the corner for a while too, but never liked all the space it took up. One day the oscillating motor started to make noise, so I took it out of the tent. The fan part still worked fine, and hating to waste things I decided to take off the base and rig it up sideways. I remembered seeing some growers on the GML show doing it that way for larger rooms too.

I just ordered a lasko 40" fan for my 4x4, pretty hyped about it, this is my favorite fan solution for a tent of this size so far. There are tons of good commercial fans for big spaces but the tent options suck so bad! Janky 6" clip ons that either barely push air or slip off easy, oscillating fans that die in less than 6 months, etc. Some of these towers would be fine standing up too, but I love the idea of hanging them on the side.
