What you got going on is just SO WRONG at so many levels. First and foremost you are putting your dads career in big time peril. Do not think that the powers that be won't hold him responsible. Oh, he wouldn't be CHARGED with anything, but he could forget about any promotions. Thats just one more fucked up thing about being in the military. I know this, because I was raised military myself, and had more than a few brushes with base security myself as a kid.
As for the "abandoned" shack", I hope it truly IS abandoned, and that its YOUR generator powering it. If thats not your generator, you got problems already. Do you think that someone would abandon a generator along with that shack? Just because no one is around it or seem to be taking care of it doesn't mean it's abandoned. Someone is eventually gonna check up on it and probably find that plant. Then all they gotta do is wait for you to show up!!
If that IS your generator, have you given thought about just how much money you are tossing out the window fueling that jewel? Growing your own ounce or so of pot from one plant with a fucking generator is NOT very cost effective. You either have a real decent job and squander your cash, or you are blowing daddy's money, and he's gonna start wondering what you're blowing it on. I don't even want to think about how much that gas/diesel bill alone is gonna be for even a short grow (4 mos). Thats a whole lot of gas or diesel for a little bit of pot.
Dude, by all means grow your own dope. It's really a rewarding and educational thing. But do it when you have your own space, and when you are in a position that only you would be affected should the worst happen.
Imagine loaning your car to your buddy who decides he's gonna go score some dope on the way home (without you knowing about it). He gets pulled over, and your car is now the property of the state. It aint so cool when someone uses YOUR shit without your knowledge, and it gets seized. How would you feel? You might get it back, but it's gonna cost you alot. You might not be admitted to some schools because of it, (or get tossed out of school if you're there already). You don't have to be charged for something like this to affect your life, or those lives around you. It might seem that "just one little plant" is harmless, but if the cops want to be dicks, it's cultivation of $3K or more of pot. They are gonna exaggerate the value, even if it was a seedling. In most areas cultivation is about the same thing as trafficking. And god forbid that shack should be on base property and base security finds it. Civilian police are bad enough, base security (MPs) are mostly stupid from word go, and are not shackled by a little thing we call the constitution. There are no civil rights on base (federal land) when it comes to search and seizure.
