I don't have any magnifying glass's, only my phone camera zoomed up but pictures are distorted with the zoom
Any way to tell by the naked eye when your plant is ready

The important part is to let the plant live to its full potential. Let all calyxes swell until pistils are out of visibility. For about 15 to 20 percent amber i usually wait a week to 2 weeks after i believe the plant has ran its full course. For all cloudy, i pull as soon as i can hardly see any pistils or theyre all gone. Best way is to buy a jewelers loupe. Or pull some buds earlier than others. Dry, cure, and see what you like best opposed to each other. Buds pulled early, or buds pulled later. Some strains i have grown are better as soon as they finish up. Others are better when i let amber set in.

OP, 710 gave some good info. To that I'd add you can look at pistil activity. If there is a decent amount of new pistil activity (white pistils) vs. pistils that have turned, chances are good the buds could swell up even more with a week or so finish.
Mostly cloudy in your pic with no new pistil activity. That's one bud though, how's the rest look?

How many days in flower, and is there a flower window from breeder? If buds look similar to that all around and you don't see new white pistils or new (brighter green) flowers popping, I'd say she's near done if you want a cloudy tric harvest. If you're running Chinese led and not pulling at least 500w from wall, a week or whatever won't do much more.

Ended up just chopping her was done with it not impressed with the yield at all, just gunna bag dry it and start over!

You may have chopped early bud... they gain alot of beefyness last two weeks... you gotta look at trichs, gotta find a mag glass or cheap scope. Naked eye signs can help but i had one take two plus weeks after she looked done done to the naked eye, scoped it she was clear as a bell.... mag glass or scopes are not frills... theybare a necessity
You can by a loupe for less than 10 bucks online, i would get the 60x but a min. Of 30x. Looking at the trichomes is the best way
