Let me tell you something. I was raised Catholic. I went to catholic school for 12 years. Religion/Theology/Religious history classes were in every semester I had since kindergarten. If you read those stories, and your bullshit alarm doesn't go off, then I don't know what to say. If you want to believe in an imaginary man that lives in the sky with a bunch of nonsensical teachings and a contradictory sense of morality, who's basically been disproved by modern science (aka rationality), be my guest.
He's already admitted that he has not read anything that goes against the ideas of christianity or its dogma, and he will not read anything that could challenge his faith. We all know what he knows, but he has no idea what we know, and he's still arrogant enough with his very limited knowledge to attempt to expose us to the 'truth'. His posts are a clear warning of the damage that can happen to the intellect from unchecked exposure to the bible, and he unwittingly does more to turn people from christianity than I ever could. Christians dont even realize that even though they talk about how much better the world is (concerning relationship with god) because of jesus' sacrifice that the jews were better off. I dont know how things work now without the temple in place but when it was standing, on the day of attonement, by the sacrifice of a goat (as long as all requirements were met in the ritual) ALL the sins of ALL the jews were attoned for (pushed back) for another year. Not just those who believed but ALL. A christian must not only believe but confess it, confess sins, be baptized and jump through various other hoops for the rest of their lives to get and stay right with god. Sounds like they got fucked to me. If they had any sense, theyd go with the goat. Imo.
I hate all kinds of religion mostly the "popular" ones. How is your "religion" different? I don't know much about Wiccans or what they believe. If you have to give money to someone to be a Wiccan don't bother responding though. Thanks!!I am wiccan and smoking during a ritual, spell, or even just to meditate helps ground me and get me more into the mindset and comfort of what I'm doing. I love getting all zen like that. Anyone else here do that? (And people against wicca/paganism, PLEASE do some serious research before being an ignorant ass. It makes you look stupid.)
