so I'm tired of bongs and pipes which are all nasty and you take a rip and get pieces of ash and shit in your hit - vaporizers where you get little particles on the inhale... diffusers work allright, percolators help, but anyone just find the fucking pinnacle apparatus of awesomeness that doesn't have this issue at all??

I'd just invest in a nice bong, chunky glass, well built with a percolator... Then add an ashcatch
You just cash a bowl into the ashcatch's water and it never gets inside the actual bong, so all you get is smoke. Then the perc cleans up the smoke a bit making it smoother, and then the ice cools the remaining harshness down
I'm currently eyeballing a piece at my headshop with the above criteria for $120
You can usually buy glass on glass ashcatchers for like $20
you don't get ash you can feel/see/taste... there are lots of small particles filling your lungs.

lol ya I agree about the tin foil entirely.
The ashcatcher idea is real good, my bong is pretty basic, and not even mine, but its really heavy it would balance with an ashcatcher in it even... after the next crop it will certainly be time for a new one though.

It's like a cylinder pipe with a long stone inside, Indian spirit pipe, fucking gets you RIPPED.
best part is it's really easy to clean, you run a cloth through the hole and against the stone to clean it.
It's real classy. - I was introduced by a fine Indian gentleman, and since have ordered a really nice one online. I prefer bong hits and buckets personally over it, but man does this thing do the job. It does the job and does it fucking well. - Best use for it is when you're smoking hash, or a hash weed mix.

for g bongs usually you cut a piece of apple to make the bowl! cut it into a bowl shape and stick it into the mouth of the bottle... or a potato or something.

my bongs and vape don't get stuff in my mouth except for thc. Have you tried putting water in your bong? that will keep ash out of your mouth
