Have any of yall ever used miracal grow moisture control potting mix or scotts garden soil because i have both lying around the house and wanted to know if they would be good to grow in

i would only use them if i let them sit out in the sun for a few weeks and flushed the shit out of them. they are loaded with nutes that are bad for your plant

if ur indoor i'd say def. no, it would be hard as fuck to control ur moisture, but ive never used it, just my opinion

i used the scotts garden soil on my first plant and it looked really healthy for the two day befor my sis killed it it grew about an inch the first night

im currently using mg moisture control and i don't have a problem im 8 days into 12/12 and i have good results. all plant r very healthy the problem with people and mg is that they still want to add nutes its already there in the begining allow enough time for your plants to use all the nutes and then add your own. the picture you see is a strawberry haze at two weeks in mgmc. each plant is different take care of them as you would your babies

Thats what I always hear, but it seems to work excellent for me. Not sure why it catches such a bad wrap. I don't care for other forms of MG, but the Moisture Control MG is awesome.

I heard about bugs in miracle grow organic soils.

why not pick up one of the organic potting mixes for 2 dollar smore.

Because I prefer MG Moisture Control. It works great for me. Check out a few of my plants...If it isn't broke, I don't care to fix it. Happy Grows.

I do not profess to have any kind of abundance of knowledge about growing but I have come to a few conclusions for myself. Some people will insist you can't do what you are doing, it's not good for your plants. Like you, if it ain't broke, I ain't fixin' it. I'm using a mix of ocean forest, happy frog and scott's. My girls look great. People will insist you add a ton of perlite. Personally I think ocean forest already has a ton of perlite in it. I added some hydroton right into my soil mix. Did I mention my girls look great? I know hydroton is used for hydro, I just thought since it is ph neutral holds moisture and will provide the roots some room to grow, why not? I have read a ton on here, bought books and asked questions. I have also come to the conclusion some people are just stuck in the way they grow. I look at it like an ongoing experiment that we all try to fit into our own particular needs. Here are a couple of pics of my girls two weeks into flowering.
