Almost all the cubes are pretty much the same to me except for PE and ape of course, or things that are crossed with them might be a little more potent also or if people do isolation work with the strains to stabilize potency and yield.with the different species there's definitely a different feel to them like pans, natals, and semperViva. My personal favorite so far is Natalensis.

I just started using CVG instead of only Coco for substrate. This is the first tub to fruit using it. Going to start seeing if it makes much of a difference or not. Only difference I can tell so far with this tub is that I think it colonized a little bit quicker than normal but then again it's a new isolation that I've never ran.

Nice apes. Just started a few grain bags last week of B+ and Mazatapec. Been awhile since I've done mushies. Got some Penis Envy and Golden Teachers syringes on the way too. Wanna go a little further and deeper into myco growing and do LC and Agar this time around and maybe a bulk tek. Still waiting for growth. Grabbed a quarter oz off my buddy to hold me down until I get a harvest.

Ah that’s rough man. Between the spores and the massive amount of iso I spray that the hood blows into my face I just started wearing a respirator most of the time so hopefully that’ll keep issues away.

Do you cure mushrooms or let them dry same as bud? Would you recommend a jar anybody? Because last time we grew mushrooms we just ate them as is without drying or curing to get a dry weight

How long do you dry for and cure same as bud pretty much? Just until it looks like a shroom is supposed to look dried not to dry or moist then cure. 7 day dry around there maybe a little more or few days less?

Its not like drying weed, you don't cure them. You want them cracker dry, no moisture at all. How long it takes depends on how you dry them. I've used dehydrators mostly as well.

The idea is to remove ALL moisture if you're going to store them for any length of time. I believe excess heat can degrade them to some degree, but everyone seems to agree that the relatively low heat of a dehydrator doesn't have any noticeable effect on quality. I dried mine and had them in the freezer for a year now. I pulled a few out of the freezer the other week and they seemed to hit just as hard as before I stored them.
