Anybody grown Grapefruit?

Running a DWC system with 4 buckets, 400w HPS, Fox Farm nutes, 2 weeks into flowering after 5 weeks of veg, pH 5.8 and ppm 575. Had early problems with rust patches, got CalMag, but nothing seems to work. Now I have yellowing leaves, rusting on outer edges of leaves, leaves with rust in the middle... I have every problem you can think of, but nothing seems to fix it. There is no pattern to where the leaves start to go wrong, some are at top, some are at bottom, some are tucked in the middle. Anybody grown Grapefruit strain with hydro? If so, what's was your ppm at beginning of flowering? I've tried giving it more nutes, and nothing, tried giving it fewer nutes, and nothing. People say to wait 5 days to see a difference, but I can't spare to wait 5 days, new leaves will start to screw up. What can I do? I've already tried posting in DWC and plant problems... same thing... deficiency this, deficiency that... apparently I have plants that are deficient in everything!

once you have made a change to hopefully affect the plant you can do nothing but wait..those leaves will never go back to normal only the new growth will be better. if you are getting new growth that is a good sign but pics would help. threads like this are why i stick to soiless..cant help much since i dont know dwc but thats what i do know anyway

how stable is PH? rust spots inme is ph fluctuating or cal lockout. bugs like fungus gnats can cause it as well

if you are using dwc with an airstone in the bucket itself, this can alter the ph and composition of your nutrient solution over time. do you ever check the ph of your solution when you waste it? also, fox farm nutes in dwc? how's that normally work out for you? do you agitate your buckets often?

also, the sweet pink grapefruit clone is/was pretty awesome. it has cripped me with laughter.

I have a grapefruit in soil with NO deficiency issues. Only hermie issues! Haha the plant is outside so it must be a genetic issue from Female seeds!

Grew out a couple of Dinafem sweet deep grapefruit w/ no issues at all in DWC. A rule I live by: if a plant suddenly develops problems, dump the reservoir immediately, flush, and refill with new solution. It usually works; not always...sometimes plants just go south - that's why it's always good to have a couple backups ready.

pH is now stable around 5.8 amazingly since I made this thread, but usually it would shoot up to around 7.0 in just a few days after I refilled the res. I've flushed multiple times whenever I sensed an issue, but the issues seem to come back almost instantly. Right now I'm just riding it out, this strain is killing me. And yes, Fox Farm nutes in DWC... should I not do this? I've always used Fox Farm nutes in DWC, Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom... and this grow I've added some Calmag when necessary, which seems to be always. I don't know why they would go "south" but it seems half way thru the veg all 4 did. I have a mother, in a separate drip system under a 125w CFL, and it's as perfect as a plant could be. I'm thinking that this strain is very sensitive to nutes.
