Most commercial grows even from Mexico dont use LANDRACE SATIVAS. that would be useless, the final product has to be good enough to get pressed into a kilo and get treated bad, and then still have some thc left in the buds by the time it reaches the consumers. MEXICAN Sativa landraces would not be ideal for this. MOST likely todays Commercial grown imported over the border pot, is a hybrid. from all the bagseeds ive had experience with in my life, most bagseeds from regs/mids/corns come from a hybrid of hardy skunks and big budding afghans. they need decent genetics to get even a mildly potent product in to the US and beyond.

i have had only a handful of big Sativa bagseed plants, the rest were wither mostly indica or they were a hybrid. most pf the bagseeds ive used came out to have a very skunky taste/flavor. I have had a few unique ones tho, back in 2004 i had two bagseed plants from some good green regs. both ended up being female, and they had some dutch genetics next to them to compare. my bagseed plants blew away the NL x bigbud i was grwoing next to it, more bud and more thc. the bagseed plant smelled and tasted just like grape nerds. this summer i had two clones from a bagseed regs mother i sold to someone, i kept two clones off it. i put them outside, and the hairs on both plants turned bright pink/purple. when harvest came they were COVERED in resin, all over. they had an earthy, skunky flavor and had a mostly indica effect with a bit of head feeling. it was very good bud, just from random ass regs seeds too. ive had many more bagseed plants i could tell of too... bagseeds are great, just watch out for hermies. any seed has potential... u just have to know how to grow, harvest and cure the bud properly. dont get me wrong tho, feminized seeds are excellent. i make orders fron attitude and nirvana all the time, but i still use bagseeds.... i have two grape ape plants from a bag that had seeds from a dispensary... they are awesome too.
