You could still get a decent crop yet mjaylover. Now that you found out you were killing them with too much kindness, you can avoid that the rest of the way and they may come out of it and yield 90-95% of their potential. In your first post it sounded like you had a handle on it and were concerned about your EC getting too high. You said in another post you could never go full strength Lucas so you already know if the EC gets too high bad things happen. You started out just on the edge of a too high EC and then put them over the edge when you went to 1.4. That is usually my experience too.

I don't respond to very many threads here and I don't tell people to do it my way. I'm not at the grumpy old man stage quite yet. I only jump in when somebody is getting bad advice and getting ready to kill nice plants. If they were small plants less than 30 days old or growing under flouros or cfl's I wouldn't care. I hope you save them dude.

There was a guy that coined a phrase about rollitup advice that was accurate and funny. Since I can't remember who it was I am going to claim it as my own and put it in my signature.

"You're good,.....no, you're not good,........welcome to rollitup".

It's hard to do hydro without a tds meter but maybe your ph could give you some clues. Are you using tap water? What is the ph of your tap water? How are you mixing the Maxi? If the tap water PH is high I would add just enough nutes to bring the PH in range and try it that way.. If your PH is way low after adding nutes it may be too strong. When I mix GH or Floranova correctly in my tap water the PH usually ends up around 5.5. I would think they would have designed Maxibloom to do the same.

I figured Mjaylover had a lock out because he is already feeding a pretty strong dose of a complete nute so it shouldn't be a deficiency.
Just a heads up: if/when you do try the maxi, it will lower your ph more than any other base you've used before. Guaranteed.

Good to know Bro. It should work great with well water. I'm still nervous about all the shaking and mixing but it won't be the first time.

I quit using Maxi series because it was causing my pure RO water to drop from 6 PH to 2 PH at a ratio of 1 teaspoon per/gallon. Not sure if I got a bad batch or what but the MaxiGrow seemed to do the same thing.. When using Lucas Micro/Bloom FloraSeries I had no problems then I switched to this thinking it'd be easier. HA jokes on me.

Been using maxi for about 5 years. I read that thread and have to say,no freakin way. I use it 900 ppm@ .5 scale max. I mixed 1 bucket at 7gr. and the ppm was off the charts.was almost 3000 ppm. In veg about 1/4 teaspoon/gal with the little green spoon gets me around 300 ppm. I use it 50/50 r.o. and tap(gassed out) and get great results. you can adjust for what your plants need. around the 3rd week of bloom I add sonic bloom @ 1/2 teaspoon /gal. If you use straight r.o or distilled, also a lot of spring water from store is r.o. you will need cal & magnesium suppliment. This is what I use.
Are you aware that 900ppm on the .5 scale is 1.8 EC?
