Anybody suffered vertigo from smoking cannabis?

I've suffered two spells of vertigo in the past five month. To cut a long story short the last time it happened, a few weeks back, the world was spinning as it does. When it first came on I stopped smoking (high thc strain) as the dzziness was simply too bad to even dare. After about 4 days my symptoms eased off a lot, so I decided to have a joint that night, only a half. The next morning the vertigo was back, not as bad as day one but I was back to sitting on the couch all day as it was severe enough. The next day was much the same and after that I was feeling fine, up to date.

It's made me wonder if the high thc strain has had some play in this. I did have an ear infection some 5 month back, where it all began so perhaps the above was simply coincidence.

Yeah, sometimes I get vertigo but I'm old and taking blood pressure meds, and it only does it when I smoke an indica and go to bed. Never get with sativa's though. Sounds like an inner ear issue as you mentioned. Hope it goes away, anyone unable to smoke weed is in a bad spot.

You might have bppv..which is the most common cause of vertigo..

Yes I have also had this, standing up quick after using cannabis.
Make sure to hydrate he is correct.
