anyone else growing barney's pineapple chunk???

Ya well, it's a great smoke but not a very stable strain from my viewpoint and others. I grew 16 plants and had 2 distinct phenoms one that was very stretched and the other that stayed about 3-4 ' tall. The short 3-4 ' plants were beautiful but still not the hard nugs you get from other strains. I think this is just how pinapple chunk is. The straggly stretch plants were topped 3 times and just did not want to produce big buds, took 12 weeks as well, short plants were done in 9-10. Funny thing the small shitty buds were every bit as good as the nice big ones and tasted just the same. The stretch plants had most of it's effort into huge root balls.
Great high and people love it, but it does not have much bag appeal.
Attached picture is kinda shitty but shows awesome trichs with the loose bud formation.

nice and frosty :) ye a heard they take a lot longer than barney's stated 55days lol 12wks! long long time, i am planning on going 10wks tops cant't wait to try it out :). here's a couple of pics from a couple of week's back IMG_1511.JPG IMG_1513.JPG . will up load new one's in about an hour's time so let me know what u think.

I grew it a few times and was never impressed with it. It wasn't bad per say, but nothing to write home about. I also found it to be very unstable/unpredictable. Not as bad as Vanilla Kush, but still more than I wanted. They have a lot better strains in their archives than this one.
