Anyone else here with PTSD?

It's getting bad right now getting bad thoughts again.
Anyone else here have it too and have suggestions for particular strains or method of ingestion?
It's times like this why I haven't got my FAC.
Fuck I want out
I feel for you. I can't help with naming a particular strain tho. I suffer from mild ptsd from a near-fatal mva 30 years ago. |I suffer with depression caused by the head injury as well as from the constant pain. I don't think there is a one size fits all solution.

I’m so sorry for all that you’ve gone through. From someone that has been at the receiving end of many facets of Canadian mental health help over the last 25 years I might be able to offer a bit of help. Support groups help, when you’re ready. I went to several when I younger and I was not into it so they were not helpful. In recent times I’ve shared and listened and the most important aspect I have found is that talking to people with similar experiences makes you not feel so alone. The internet is great as well for anonymous sharing. I don’t have PTSD, but if you google anxiety/ depression/ PTSD support there is something out there for you. Doctors don’t know everything and it’s easy to get a bad taste in your mouth when you meet a shitty one. Ive seen dozens and they’re not all created equal. A social worker or psychologist or psychiatric nurse are often better to talk to because they seem more like real people. Good luck.

Hello everyone, I have PTSD stemming from a deployment in Iraq and I think one of my saving grace has been gardening. Not just cannabis, although that is definitely my highest value crop I just find if I am let alone in my field or my grow room with my hands in the dirt, it quiets my mind and re-energizes me to be able to fight my daily battles.

Cannabis for me works wonders as a dream suppressant regardless of strain but I have found hybrids are best suited for me just to make me smile more. I stay away from 100% sativas because they seem to ping me too much if that makes sense.

I also have found that changing my diet has helped me in many ways. Dairy and gluten was killing me from the inside and making life miserable and I didn't even know until I tried to stop eating them.

Sorry, didn't read this was for Canadian patients until now.....

I think we are all just “patients” here; where we come from doesn’t make any difference.

Saying that you willed yourself into not having PTSD in a thread about PTSD sufferers is a little insensitive. If you willed yourself out of it then you probably just had gas or something; not PTSD. Glad you’re doing better though.

I’m sure Im just being sensitive again. But I have an aversion to people that said they were mentally strong enough to get rid of something on their own. Thus the other side of the coin is those who are still suffering are mentally not strong enough. I disagree.
If you have found things that worked to help keep your PTSD at bay; I would be interested to hear them. You may end up helping some people with a new suggestion or method they had not thought of.
For example, I sometimes over react and take situations to mean different things that they do. Writing things out helps me; and also asking questions. And being big enough to realize that sometimes I make mistakes and that’s ok. Hope I didn’t offend you, my apologies.
