I believe their is a lot of truth to that. I wouldnt call them schwag, but they definitely fall short of what photos put out. And they are almost always so fucking fluffy. Photos give you that nice dense nugg. Some people say Autos are schwag. Less potent and worse taste. Any truth to that?
Yeah switching the timer is such a pain in the ass.....I like autos, some of them yes you will get very leafy canopy, others its more stream lined. Most of that though comes down to the strain your growing. I have no doubt you can probably get more from a photoperiod but Autos are known for faster turn arounds.
You can keep them on a 18 on and 6 hours off schedule and they still flower compared to having to swap to 12 / 12 for photoperiods.
I agree with this one. Autos would be my only option where i live. high 20's and dustings of snow in mid October are very common.Biggest reason for autos for me is discreet small plants that I can pop 6 of and keep well hidden from jackals trying to steal my hard work.
A secondary reason is growing outdoors light cycles become an issue.
I dont want to wake up at 6 am to move my plants out. I keep them locked up at night.
There are some great reasons to want autos tbh.
