Anyone else used acetone to make hash oil?

I just ordered some hexane about an hour ago. I have been using butane and tried bestine. Bestine was a mistake. I could not purge it our with heat, maybe could have vac purged but I do not have one and that is more $$$. I ordered 99.9% hexane so I am excited about the lab grade purity.

I so works great but you gotta keep things COLD. I have found dry ice to help with many extractions.

I have not done an acetone extraction but have some and am thinking about trying it to see how she goes.
