Yes I am giving her nutes at about 300 ppm but I have 3 other babies that I'm giving the same amount of nutes too and they are looking normal and are way bigger than the pw seedling. Also this is my 3rd grow and I've always given my seedlings nutriens in my hydroponic setup with no problems.

They dont need nutrients. Thats what cotyledons are for.

I just ordered dj short old time moonshine and of all the grows Ive seen online, every pack of OTM has at least 3 mutants and apparantly they are usually the best phenos.

thats kool man..i was just reading about that (forgot what its called) but u can breed true for that if u wanted to, the book said that it happens alot in south african<(spelling) strains. and you can use it to breed a "whrooling" shoots/flowers by crossing with a "alternate branching": http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/caer/ce/eek/veg/treekey/decid1.htm plant if she doesnt already have alternate branching, i forgot why it happens i think its just one of those things...i whould like to know how she truns out, are u going to keep a thread on this??...meangreen

hey man check this out its from the cannabis breeders bible by greg green: chapter 16. CHROMOSOME MODIFICATIONS IN CANNABIS:

trilateral branching is common with south american sativa strains

instead of two branches -one at each side on the stem,180 degrees

apart- a third branch develop at the same region but the stem does not

split or top itself. the thrid branch may be on one side or the other, or the

three branches may be 120 degrees apart from one another. this popular

mutation has pick up the name "whorled phylotaxy" coming from the word

whorled:an arrangement of three or more similar parts or organs at the

same level about an axis and phylotaxy:the arrangemment of leaves or the

other lateral members on an axis or stem.....:-|....

thats all it has about it man, i bet a google search can find more....

stress can cause mutants, and not on all the plants at the same time. Feeding at 300ppm is very mild indeed. Most well water is around that or a little higher and tap water lower or higher depending where you live. You using an RO system?

Yeah Im using RO water

I have 7 Reserva PW's that i popped, all of them were female and i had a mutant as well. Mine is a little more mutated than the pic Champen showed. However it was shining with trichs at the end of a 32 day veg and had a sweet smell but it now the smallest in the jungle. I'm waiting on my camera to arrive from the cyber monday sale and I will post a pic for you. -Hakuna-Matata

Haha yeah it would...Mine is feminized though so its female.....Chapmans is really a beauty tho! mine looks like it could really be a strange pheno though, Ive never seen plant leaves shaped that way.

one of mine has three leaves, well two cotyledons and 1 real leaf as I am pretty sure I pulled the shell of too rough. Not like yurs I do not think. However another one of mine has her first true leaves and they are dark purple! The first true leaves. None other look like this at all and I have grown two males a month in before chopping them. So I got my fingers crossed. GL
