Anyone Ever Run Into Law Enforcement Issues?

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever had a cop see their grow or pull you over and find weed in your car. If so how did it go down?

I've never had it happen to me, don't plan to but just in case it would be good to know what to expect.

I have had encounters with police a couple times, most very minor with no consequences for me - besides speeding and shit.

1.
My buddy was smokin a blunt while driving, we were all passing it around, cops pulled us over, had all four of us get out. Fortunately for me and the two girls in the back, the car pretty much pulled into our apartment complex. He was arrested, charged with a DUI, car towed.

2.
Got caught smokin in a parked car, they made us brake our pipes, we had like five of them with us, they poured our weed out and smashed it into the pavement - three different strains or so. Then the let us go, prolly figured that was enough punishment.

3.
The WORST - my DUI - really is a SORE subject. I was smoking a lot back then just like now, 1/8 +or- a day. I was on my way work in the morning (like 4:30 am) and couldnt re-up until after work - I was much younger might I add before stating - so I pulled out my piece from under my seat and hit the resin that was under the bowl. I made an illegal left had turn out of a gas station, didnt even see the sign, and was immediately pulled over like I was a kidnapping suspect. He was kind, pulled me out of the car, said it smelled, did the sobriety test, of course I failed, found the piece and took me to the police station - under arrest. On the way there he told me that it sucked because he and his buddies were stoners in college, he just couldnt let me go because there was a story in the paper recently about an officer making a judgement call on a sobriety issue that lead to a fatal accident - the officer was sued. I was booked and let go, $2,500 for fines, another 300 or so in mandatory classes, plus some 2 or 300 for my license.

give them no reason to think you do what you do, dont tell, dont show, if ya wanna grow (dont blast little wayne in a cadillac w/20's when you do business)

1)pulled over and asked for permission to search my "bag". there were three cops and in a residential. pulled over for "taillight". Clearly said "have i been convicted of a crime?" he said, "no". Then i said, "may i have my ticket and be on my way?" He kept saying it would only take a second and if i wasnt hiding anything it wouldnt be an issue. I repeated the same lines about three times and he just left. IF YOU ARE NOT BEING CONVICTED OF A CRIME THEY CANT KEEP YOU AT BAY, But they will try to hold you close so you slip under pressure and say something and/or show supporting evidence.

2) 25 out door plants in a 25 plant limit town. cops came to look at medical scrpt. cops commented on low plant numbers with the number of scripts on the parcel. they left peacefully.

Have to friends one SDPD and the other CHP. They both have standing orders to let patients go if providing proper ID and verification. They are to enforce it like any medicine. Key point dont get caught medicating in a vehicle. It is from a law enforcement view to prove you used weed weather if it was 1 min or 30 days they cant get you without the burnt evidence or smoke. Dont dive them any excuse to mess with you. I know if you are drunk and are sitting in a vehicle with the keys in it in your driveway you could be charged with a DUI.

I got caught, but not in a car. I was in a bar 5 years ago and stepped out the back door into an alley to puff. An unmarked police car pulled into the alley. Cops took the weed (only about a gram) and my one-hitter pipe. I wasn't arrested. The cops tried to scare me into ratting out my dealer and gave me a phone number to call to do so. I said I would call (I was lying), but mentioned that I would talk to an attorney about it first. The cops said that wouldn't do me any good (trying to scare me again). An attorney friend said that what it really would be was that the cops would use me to make a monitored buy. Since I was first-time offender and was caught with so little, he advised against it. He said to wait until I was charged and then call him, if I wanted to retain him. About a week later, the city sent me a letter saying that I was charged by the city of Lansing, Mich. with possession of paraphenilia and gave a court date. I went to court and pled guilty. My punishment was a $150 fine. I paid the fine and left, thinking it was over and that they decided not to charge me with marijuana possession because I only had a gram on me. About 5 months later, I returned home from vacation and found a letter from Ingham County. It said that since I was a first-time offender, I had the option of going through what they called the Diversion Program. If I completed it successfully, I wouldn't be charged. The other option was to allow myself to charged. I called the attorney back, who advised that fighting it in court would cost more money than the program, so I chose the program. It was much like being on probation. I had to visit an officer weekly for three weeks, then I just had to call (I was free to go out of the state, even the country). I had to pay about $300 in fees, report for weekly drug testing (this was $5 a pop, the first three drops could be positive but I would have to make those up with clean ones) and I had to perform 40 hours of community service.

I completed the program successfully, and all my drops were clean. The whole thing lasted about six months. During that time, I just quit smoking in order to pass the drops (I wasn't a heavy user). The thing I hated most was the community service--at a thrift store--mainly because it messed up my saturdays (I had a full time job at the time). The meetings with the officer weren't bad. I thought I was gonna get preached to about the ills of pot, but wasn't. We just had general, friendly conversations. At the end of six months, I had to go in for my wrap-up meeting. The officer advised me to be more careful about where I get high! But she mentioned that the best way not to get caught, of course, is to not smoke.

I have had many run ins with the law over pot... Mostly in Orange County...

But this one was the best though and most recent

After leaving a dispensary in Arcata, Chips pulled me over. The weed i got was dank as hell. lol He reeled from the smell and asked me out of the car. I obliged because I hadn't burned any in the car and I had my card, but it still reeked! He was preparing me for field sobriety test when I handed him my card. He took my "papers" back to his car and told me to get in my car.
2 minutes later he brought my "papers" back and said have a nice day. sorry to bother you
