Anyone ever Veg indoors for 3+ months Then move outdoors?

whats up guys, Iv been growing for 4 years and dieing to do a outdoor grow..Im looking to veg for 3-5 months indoor then move outdoors to veg for another 3 months and finally flower outdoors aswell. Anyone here in the riu community have great success? run into any problems?.... Are there any good journals people reccomend?

did it last year ended up having to sell them to a buddy who grew them all outdoor and they were all 7-12 ft monsters in like a month and a half cuz he put them in the ground in june

February 1st is when I start the 24 hour veg. May 20th I will put them outside. transplant them into 65 gallon smart pots...

You will definitely have some beasts! 65 gallons should be plenty but I've got some in 300 gallon smart pots that have been going since May in a hoop house and they are huge. Ran out of money so I wasn't able to feed the plants yet in the 300 gallons at all. I'm not an expert but I believe the unrestricted root growth is the reason I haven't seen any yellowing in the leaves from lack of nitrogen yet. Just now starting to notice lighter green in the newer growth. They are close to 10 ft tall now

Also wanted to add that I was using additional 8 8 bulb t5's spread throughout during the early months to help with growth and prevent from flowering.

I'm doing it. I've been vegging 22 plants since November of 2011 because I could not eliminate oders enough in my house. It has been very dry around here but they are 6foot tall already. They are in 5 gallon buckets and in a remote forest.

How odd. Every single one of them is completely gone, buckets and everything. The dirt from the buckets was dumped in the middle of the garden. Surveyors have been assessing damage in the forests from our recent large storms. They were checking the trees that fell across the creek and stumbled upon my happy place. From there I assume the sheriffs came in and got rid of it. There is not enough aerial space up top for a helicopter. I was fortunate enough to come away clean. Once i saw everything was gone from 50yds away I skedaddled and dropped every incriminating thing on me. Everyone be safe.
