Anyone familiar with Delta 9 consulting in Methuen/Malden?

I went to my PCP today for a physical. I asked about MMJ and if he wrote the recomendation letters. they said "they are not set up to do that". I was confused because according to the law any mass doctor can write the recomendation, or so I how I interpeted it.
He then reffered me to Delta9, which is local to me in methuen. I went to their website and they are pricey at $250 and then $100 to keep it current? Does this sound right?
