Anyone goin to marley fest? (austin, tx)

Anyone going to Bob marley fest next month on 4/18 - 4/19? Also known as the austin reggae fest in Austin tx? All the RIU members that are gonna go should meet up, we should meet there or meet somewhere and roll on in.. Someone could bring a tent and we could put a RIU sign on it lol.

I will be there also, whats the deal with the weed there? I plan on bringing it in...so how do I go about doing it? Since its marley fest, one would think that cops would be checking everyone...what do you think?

Also, I have a friend who can rent tents for like 10 dollars a week from UT- Austin...so let me know what you want to do...I would like it if we could get a decent sized group going

actually they are pretty laid back about the weed during marley fest. Cops are there to help the stoners across the street lol.. Theres alot of ppl the bring smoke (reason for the tents). Last time on 4/20 at 420 the whole crowd made a nice little haze cloud :)

Hey all, I'm an Austinite for years. Been to many a Marley. This year it's a $15 charge at the gate ($10 if you can get to a FrontGate Tickets outlet by Friday) and very worth it. CAFB (Cap Area Food Bank) is accepting non-perishable food donations but not required and donations do not reduce ticket prices as in years past.

Bring tents and chairs. Cops are cool (LITERALLY backs turned) as long as you smoke in your tent. Even if you don't, they usually don't cause any problems.... but just in case, tents are always good.

Gates open at noon. Bands shut down at 10 pm. Tent space is limited so those with tents be there before 2pm.

There are food stands (ie falafel, tacos, etc) and a lot of Jamaican merch. VERY cool merch.

So bring your cash along with your stash.

Look for me and I'll look for y'all. I'll be wearing the High Times Official Judge shirt.

sounds like a plan its on like donkey kong...gonna make a whole weekend out of it...The RIU Smoke-A-thon i got my zip or 2...its like a 3 hr drive from NTX...like a drive to the grocery store in these parts...
